Taka heard Maurs howl and choked back tears he had decided what he was going to do he walked away from the sound of Maur and Kira and away from Nome they'll be better off without me he thought

Maura trotted away from where she had been waiting for Taka. "C'mon, Kira. They don't need us..." She ran through the forest, before a call cut her off.
"Hold it, RUNT!" The voice was familiar, and when the word 'runt' was said, she realized who it was.
"What do you want, Meca?" She growled as the shape of her brother pushed through the brush. She hadn't seen him since the morning, and with everything going on, she had actually forgotten about him.
"Well, well. Looks like you've got a little friend, runt." He circled Akira, who tried to stand tall, even though Meca was a good three or four inches taller than her.
"Don't touch her!" Maura snapped.
"Well! Looks like Maura found something worth the taking!" He grinned at Akira, flirting with her.
"Get away from me, you Creep!" Akira spat.
Meca shoved Akira away. "Don't call me a creep, creep." He growled.
"Get away from her!" Maura snarled. She pounced on him, learning to fight from her many encounters with Steele. He threw her off, though.
"Looks like you've finally learned to defend yourself, huh?"
((Yeah, I don't really feel like going into a fight scene right now, so you can just imagine this huge brown wolf attacking a regular-sized black one, and the black one is actually almost winning.))

Taka heard the voices he charged back ward and out into the clearing,He could tell it was maura fighting from the sound she was making.he sidled up to Akira "hey,you know what's going on?" he whispered rather curiously.

Akira was shocked to see Taka there, and yipped.
"Oh, it's just you... Well, we were leaving, when we ran into Maura's old pack, and her brother is the biggest bully ever, so he was picking on her and teasing me and stuff, and then Maura and him started fighting and I don't know what to do." She talked in a run-on sentence, never stopping to take a breath.

Taka shook his head "I wonder what hed think of Steele" he whispered,a comment which would his sent his sister into fits of silent giggles "yuer nity ar tar ack acoter ta midin ot hat*" he muttered

"Come on!" Akira said. "We've got to help her! Maura is definately stronger, but Meca has the element of size over her... She can't hold off much longer!" Akira bounded in, but when Meca slashed her, she whimpered and backed off. She didn't like fighting, and therefore, wasn't good at it.
Maura struggled under Meca's grasp. She gasped when he hit her in the side, knocking the breath out of her.

Taka saw Akira slashed and then maura knocked backwards,anger boiled up inside him,he charged into Meca and pinned him "you wont hurt maur or Kira" he snarled sinking his teeth into Mecas shoulder "I swear on the moon and the earth That if you hurt them you will have me to answer to" he growled ripping into his ear "I swear" his voice was quiet and very chilling

Meca was actually a bit frightened. The new wolf was a bit bigger than Akira and Maura, though it was obvious that it's eyes were useless. He clawed the wolf's stomach, leaving him a chance to get up. He scampered off, followed by his siblings, back into the forest.
"Thanks Taka..." Maura panted. "I..." She started shyly. "Wanted to talk to you..." She looked over at Akira. "Alone..."
Akira got the hint and back away, turning to head back towards where they had been before.

A tear slid down her face. She pushed her head under Taka's, burying her face in his fur. "I love you too, Taka..." She whispered back, and licked his muzzle.

Taka gently licked Maurs cheek and smiled "We should probably go and see Akira or she might think you ripped me to pieces like you did to Steele" taka laughed,he nuzzled Maur he stepped backwards and sighed "you know Id never have thought when I first met you we'd end up like this."

"Yeah, I never would have guessed..." Maura leaned against Taka lovingly as the padded back to Akira. She was pacing back and forth, but her eyes softened when she saw Maura and Taka together. Akira gave Maura a look that said 'so it did work out, huh?'

Taka smiled at Maur,it was true he never had felt this way about anyone before,he sniffed the air and all his muscles tightened that scent was all too familiar.
