"Oh, yeah," Kodi said. "Well, this man, Duke, cam eto Nome and said that his bush place could deliver mail faster than us, the mail team. The people decided to hold a contest and we both had to take mail to White Mountain and return with Nome's mail. And, you know, we raced and thought we were losing until we got back to Nome and found out the bush plac had't come back yet. So, hours later, it still wasn't back, so Dad went looking for it and Duke. Turns out the plane had crahsed. The mail team didn't want to go with them, but I convinced them tp go after Dad and we ended up saving him from falling over a cliff. We helped them get back to Nome and get Duke to a doctor because he broke his leg in the crash."
