Vixen lunged in the air and whipped around, sending a wave of fire towards the wolves and taking each of them out, except the Patrol Leader. He was the one she wanted, not these bafoons!

The white female let her hackles rise, and she turned to face the wolf with bared fangs. Let him try...he won't be fighting for long... Vixen thought inside her head.

The Patrol Leader nearly got swept off his feet. He crouched down then rose his head bringing up earth before the fire could reach him. "This istaking too long!" He slammed a paw into the ground and spun into the air kicking the rock with his hind legs sending it darting through the fire blast and straight at Vixen. As he landed rocks were shot up into the sky, on a trajectory towards Vixen, giving it so much hangtime that it will land a few seconds after the first rok comes in contact. He lunged forward following the first rock he slammed forward intending to strike after the inital wave and before the projectiles came down.

Not seeing that particular move coming, Vixen was slammed backwards and skidded into the ground on her back, rocks flying upward when she landed. "Ugh..." She opened her eyes droopily, trying to shake her head back to normal. When her vision cleared, Vixen jumped up and rammed into the Patrol leader head on, bowling them both to the ground. Maybe if she just stalled a little more, let him weaken from his efforts....

Unlike Granger, the Patrol Leader wasn't as self-disciplined. When he was hit by Vixen's retaliation he usedd a counter which sent rocks towards Vixen the moment he hit the ground. He stood up panting releasing wave after wave of attacks. Ground spikes and rain of stones. Slowly but surely the light in his eyes were starting to dull from exhaustion, still not iving up however.

Ducking the rocks with speed, Vixen thanked herself for not being one of those muscular-trains-all-the-time females. She was slim and smaller than most, making her fast.

Lunging yet again, she finally got ahold of the leader's throat, and suddenly her fangs caught fire once they had sunken through skin...

The Patrol Leader gasped as Vixen's fang break the skin around his neck. He felt piercing heat break flow down his throat. But this was just the pang from the wound. The fire that followed burned him from within while he struggled to get free but his vision goes dark. He managed to bark, "By now... they're de..."

The body goes limp, smoking.

Xinal was in the middle of the battle trying to drag off a ground wolf from his grasp over a wind wolf. He managed to toss him off after shocking him then whirling to face the ground wolf protecting the Wind Wolf.

"Why are you helping us?" The wind wolf barked.

"You seem to need it." Xinal replied, "but we need yours too. But that will have to wait we have to finish this as soon as possible." Xinal leaped hitting the ground wolf with his head sending him into the wall.

Vixen curled her lip and stepped back from the dead wolf, seeing his black-burnt neck smoking where she had bitten him. He deserved to die the way he did! She thought darkly.

Pricking her ears, she sniffed the ground and began to follow where Xinal left.

Xinal hit hard with his paws, sending out a strong electric current through the body of the Ground wolf.

"Traitor!" The ground wolf spat as he recovered.

"I think that has been established already!" He tried to bite down into the neck fur. However the ground wolf pushed him off and pinned him to the ground. The tables turned in a blink of an eye, and not for Xinal's favor. He couldn't summon enough static charge to shake him off.

"Play with your lightning! Let's see how you enjoy them when you're dead." He lunges for the killing blow.

Suddenly a wave of fire hit Xinal's attacker, shoving him off, and leaving his pelt literally on fire. Vixen lunged and rammed into the wolf, her flaming fangs sinking into his skull.

Ignoring the smoke floating in the air, she continued to throw him around, until she finally just dropped him on the ground. Vixen put a paw to his throat, claws flaming and about to sink into his flesh.

Her once-blue eyes blazed a fiery gold, narrowed angrily at the Ground Wolf.

The attacker glared hatred gleaming in his eyes before running off. The remaining Ground Wolves also have fled the camp either earlier on or along with him. Xinal turned to Vixen. "Thanks. That makes me owe you double." He nodded his head in gratitude before turning to look around the camp. The Wind Wolves weren't seriously hurt. In fact, only one has had any injury at all, the rest has had scracthes. The Wind Wolf patrol they had met earlier approached.

"Thanks for the help and forewarning." He barked, "It prevented a lot of injuries. I have spoken to our alpha. He wishes to speak with you regarding the current situation."

[[You want to control the Alpha Wind Wolf, Bound by blood?]]

(I would...lol but I don't know what I'd want to see Xinal for)

Vixen punched Xinal playfully. "Yeah, you owe me alot, actually." She looked around the camp, and smiled at the sucess. So far, barely any injuries, and they had won the first round.

You idiot, something told her, What about when Granger gets here? He taught you moves. He took you in his pack.

No, he made me stay in it, she answered herself, but the other side of her wouldn't drop it.

-and you go off with Xinal to help the Wind Wolves. They are pathetic! Too weak to handle a patrol you took out all on your own.

I didn't take it out all on my own, I had tons of help.

Right.

Vixen flicked an ear, she was obviously being bothered by something, any wolf could tell the look on her face wasn't anylonger a happy one.

[[I kinda meant that it was to meet both Xinal and Vixen to confirm/thank/whatever you want(You may want to expound pn some sideplot of Vixen being an old wind wolf). lol I'll digress for a while in case you want.]]

Granger stopped his Pack just before crossing the border towards the water Wolves. "Is everyone prepared to attack!"

Howling was the reply coming from all of the ground wolves. And as if on cue the sky grows dark and the winds are picking up.

[oh ok]

A breeze went through the air, making Vixen's flaming claws blow out. She was about to protest, when a familiar large, lean white-grey wolf stepped out from the crowd of Wind Wolves.

Quickly, Vixen dipped her head, trying to act respectful, but really she just didn't want to be recognized.

The white wolf's blue gaze traveled over the clearing, and rested on Xinal and Vixen. "Thank you, Ground and Fire Wolf. You fought bravely, for a pack that wasn't even yours. We are grateful-" But he cut off, and his eyes rested on Vixen once more.

Suddenly his lip curled, and he flicked his tail to one of the wolves in his pack. "Pin her."

Vixen jerked her head up, eyes wide. They know...

Xinal's eyes widened in shock and he leaped forward in front of Vixen, "What are you doing? She helped save your pack!" He barked, not knowing the real meaning of all this.
"We risk our lives to be here for something more important than whatever it is that may be causing this odd feud!"

The Alpha curled his lip and snarled at Xinal, claws digging into the ground in anger. "That traitor killed the former alphas, now step aside!"

Vixen hung her head, keeping her gaze away from Xinal.
