If Balto died then the producers have now completely tron Balto away for the original real balto, they already made him a wolf-dog which he wasn't and made him have a family which he did have, etc.

I'm sorry, but so much of this topic reminds me what's wrong with a lot of hardcore fans of movies & stuff. "If Balto died I'd shoot the directors." "If he died I'd be sad forever!!" "I'd sue Universal for killing him!" Really kids, it's an animated doggy. The real Balto has been dead for a long time. Don't get your panties in a bunch over something that'd never happen in the movies anyway.

Well said, Tibb. Getting upset over a animated character is most ridiculous.

If Balto died, I wouldn't get upset to the point where I wanted to take revenge on Universal, it's just a cartoon. But here's my viewpoint on the matter. If Balto were to die in the movie, then what was the point in making the movie at all? Or even call it Balto? Balto is the main character; the hero of the movie. A character that is based from a real dog who never died during the serum run. Killing him off the middle of the film would have been pointless. The lives of the children would have been back in Steele's paws. At that rate, all the children would die, as Steele is suppose to be the enemy, and obviously doesn't care to help the children.

Well now that I think about it Balto isn't a phenominal thing. Besides the directors,creators,etcetra didn't even stick with the true story line in the first movie. If Balto died I wouldn't be happy but I wouldn't cry or anything. Just complain to my Dad for a couple of days tops and than shut up about it for good.
