Kensai sighed, since Mara and Kani had found Kori, she never really payed him any attention and once again Kensai was alone. He sighed and walked along the border keeping his eye out, he would just return to his job. Kensai sat down on a rock and looked around thinking.

"Ha ha ha! This is fun!" exclaimed Maliha. Then she stopped laughing as she saw Kensai looking sad and alone. "Alika." she whispered. "We have to get Kensai excited again!"
"I agree." Alika whispered back. "I'll talk to Kani."
She turned towards Kani. "Hey, Kani, do you want to be part of our plan to make Kensai happy?"

'Hey Taji!' Rakhi called as she walked along the cave of pride rock. 'Now, where's that one gone?' She sorted and wondered. She looked up at the blue sky. 'Huh...clouds. Let's play that old game again.' She murmured. She squinted hard at the cloud, and she seemed to see two faces. Her and Taji's faces. Rakhi kept looking at them.

"Good, good," Moto said, then put his paw on Alika's backside and forced it down into the right position. He went over to help Kani, then stopped as the cub righted himself. "Very nice Kani! JUst a bit more practice and you can get it without falling over," he told him. "Now, to help, your tail can be used to balance it out. Try it," he instructed, then sat back to watch.

"Thank you for helping me Moto!" Alika said. She then repeated the position with her tail out to keep her balance, but again, her back went into the air.
"Alika, you are rubbish at this!" Maliha said sharply as she also bent down into the position, tail out and low. She was a natural at this and she found it comfortable, as if it was what she was meant to do.

Uhuru got up slowly and picked up her cubs. She walked slowly up to Pride Rock and lay down again, next to Ubora. "So, what do you think?" she asked him.
"They're beautiful!" he exclaimed, softly as not to disturb his cubs. "Everyone, be gentle and quiet when you come and look."
"Oh, Uhuru they are beautiful, and Ubora, congratulations!" Amani whispered.
"They will be welcomed into the Pride with open arms." Bakari said. "They are stunning!"

Meanwhile, Taji had spotted Rakhi. "Rakhi!" he called, as he ran up to her. "I'm sorry I have been so distant, it's just, I wanted to plan something to surprise you. Do you want to follow me?"
He saw her nod and so Taji set off. He had been planning this ever since Rakhi had arrived and decided to stay at Pride Rock. He loved her, but he wasn't sure how to put it into words, so this was his way of saying 'I love you.'
Taji and Rakhi walked for a long time in silence, not daring to speak, until they had crossed the borders into the Outlands. Taji liked coming here because it was full of life, the grasslands being a lush green and the river full and gentle. It was a river he was heading to now. He had discovered it whilst exploring and he found it beautiful, just like Rakhi.
"Here we are." he said softly as they reached a river. From where he was standing, he could see Rakhi's confused expression. Even he had to admit that it wasn't anything special. That it, until he walked down the bank to a small inlet. He pushed aside the falling leaves to reveal a cave. It was light inside the cave as there was a hole in the roof that looked at the sky. Underneath was a patch of moss, shaped perfectly to fit two bodies. The sun streamed down and Taji walked inside and turned to face Rakhi. "It is a cloud watching and star gazing secret cave, just for me and you."

Tafari nodded and nuzzled her and licked her tears off her face ''Don't cry my love. I'll be here by your side forever. I think I'm beginning to draw like Kabili,what do you think?'' He asked.

Bahati thought she heard voices and decided to head towards the birthing cave and peeked in ''Uhuru?....Are you ok?..'' Bahati asked unsure if she was aloud in the cave or not.

"Is that you Bahati?" called Uhuru from inside the cave. "Of course you may come in." She smiled as she saw Bahati's face enter the cave. "Here are my cubs. I've decided to name the boy Ukurugenzi, but Uki for short and I haven't decided on the girl's name. Any ideas?"
"Don't worry." said Ubora. "I am sure you will pick a fitting name!"

"It's tears of happiness." Radhi said, with a sniff. "I think my grandfather would be very proud of you." She buried her face into Tafari's large mane, loving how soft it was. "I love you."

"Alika, you have to keep your tail low to the ground, like your sister," he said, then turned to Maliha. "You're focusing too much on getting it right. Just relax and let it come naturally," he explained. It was obvious that Maliha was the more athletic of the two, but he wouldn't give up on Alika. She just had to be determined enough to continue.

Rakhi entered the cave in amazement. 'Wow...this wonderful place, for us? Taji, you're very nice!' She nuzzled Taji. 'I love you.' She said quitely.

'Come on, where are the kids? It's story time!' Aleela walked past priderock for the cubs. 'Who wants to hear a story of hyenas?' She called

Bahati thought for a moment, ''Umeko, It means plum blossom child. I think that name fits the little cub perfectly what do you think?'' Bahati asked watching the cubs sleep.

Tafari purred lovingly ''I love you too. I just wish I was able to meet him'' He said his head over her neck nuzzling her. ''Come on let's go outside.'' He said smiling.

A brown lioness with a diamond-like marking on her forehead sat down beside Aleela. "Are you telling another story?" Iyafa, the brown lioness, asked. "If so, I'll listen in." She gazed around, looking at the beautiful scenery. Ever since she joined the Pridelands, she had felt so much more like herself again. To her, the Pridelands were like Mother Nature's most prized creation.

Meanwhile, in the cave, Uhuru smiled at Bahati. "Umeko is beautiful, what do you think Ubora?"
"It truly is, and it suits her very well. Thank you Bahati."

"Story? I'd love a story!" cried Alika. She ran off with Kani to hear Aleela's story, and hopefully to hear one from Iyafa as well.
However, Maliha stayed behind. "I don't want to hear a story, I want to do more training with Moto!" She relaxed, unclenched her muscles and went into the pose again. "Is this better?" she asked.

Radhi walked outside with Tafari. She loved how the sun reflected off his mane. Then the sun grew bigger and brighter, shining down on Radhi and Tafari. All of a sudden, Radhi noticed that it had a face. "Kabili?" she asked.
"Yes, I am Kabili. I wanted to speak with you to let you know I am very proud of you both. What you have done for my family and my special cave has pleased me greatly. Young Tafari, I see myself in you. Keep going!" Kabili smiled. "I know I can't be down with you, but I am always with you, in your hearts."

Moto smiled. "Very nice," he said. "Now, here's a trick for hunting; you need to observe before you act," he said, leaning down beside her. "You need to spot which piece to take from the herd you're hunting," he added. "Now, a few safety rules," he began. "Stay close to your team, avoid the hind legs and hooves of prey, and if some prey outrun you, don't go after it. You'll just lose energy for future hunts," he finished, then smiled down at her.

Rakhi looked at Taji. 'Mates?' She thought for a moment. Then replied with a gentle smile, 'It'd be great if we stay together forever. You should.' Then nuzzled him again.

Aleela smiled at Lyafa, then called again, 'So, no one wants to hear stories today?
