Rikkes smiled and shook his head as she left. She was starting to be less of a surprise, less of a mystery, and more amusing by the day. 'I should write a book about her.' he thought, then shook his head, laughing softly. 'now that would be interesting- a real tragedy gone adventure.'

Racheal went straight to her horse and stroked his nose as he nickered softly. He could feel her pain. "Hey big guy." She said in a week voice. She smiled again, this time, the smile came from her heart. She looked deep into his brown eyes and gave a light chuckle, sighing happily as Zorro nuzzled her. She loved this horse so much. This was the only boy who could make her smile, no, that wasn't true. She had Rikkes.

Rikkes sat back, content to just sit quietly for a moment. With all this action, he seemed to rarely get a moment for it. He decided to get a quil, some ink and a journal today, for these quiet times, to write down his thoughts so that later, he could write another story.

Racheal stroked Zorro one last time before walking weakly away. Her arms were sore and her back ached with pain every second. Her eye was swollen and her lip was busted. She felt a lot worse than what she had did when she fell alseep the night before. She sighed, walking around for a few moments longer.

Rikkes got to his feet, to get himself some water. He searched for several minutes before finding a small wash basin and a bucket of clean water. He picked up a glass and scooped up some water, drinking happily.

A few minutes later she walked back inside the medic, jumping in sudden fright as she saw the Rikkes. She smiled and shook her head, "Rikkes, I didn't know you were awake." She said and looked over at her bed, she shook her head and sat down. She thought about Kailen and about the maid, she missed them both but for some reason, her brother felt like he was getting more and more distant from her each and every day.

Rikkes smiled, "yeah, I'm up. Thought I'd take a quick fly around the city, stretch my wings or... Take a run as a dog or horse. What do you think would be best?"

Racheal thought, making a face at the thought of seeing him as a dog. "Well considering some people around here eat dogs, that wouldn't be such a good idea. It's probably better as a horse." She said and shrugged. "But it's whatever you chose to be." She said and looked away, thinking about all the troubles. She sighed deeply and looked down at the floor.

Rikkes nodded, "and a bird would gain to much attention. Horse it is, though my horse form isn't very quiet on the cobblestone roads." he said. "I'll return shortly." he said and walked out to door, putting his hands in his pockets and walking towards an alley.

Racheal's mouth turned up at one corner, turning into a grin. "Don't get yourself killed out there." She said and looked over at the medics who were coming back inside. "Okay miss, lets change those bandages and get you all cleaned up." The medic said, putting his hand on Racheal's shoulder. Her grin dissapeared, she hated being touched by anybody. She took a deep annoyed breath before nodding.

Rikkes grinned, walking into the shadows. He checked to make sure no one was there before shifting quietly into a horse. It felt good to be back in a farmiliar animal form. He whinnied softly and walked out of the alley. He was a rare color for this place, being pitch black, but he knee that if he could stay out of the human's greedy clutches he'd be alright

Racheal pulled her shirt off to find and ace bandage wrapped around her. She looked at the medic, "What the-. When did I get this?" She asked, looking him over. He shrugged his shoulder, "You were bleeding so we had to wrap you." He said, keeping a very mild temper. Racheal looked at him suspiciously, "Who gave you permission to take my shirt off?" She said, looking him over. The medic sighed, "Miss, it's only proffesional. I can assure you that it wasn't anything obscene." He said with a smile. Racheal nodded, "Better not have been." She smirked.

Rikkes nostril's flared, he loved his horse form. He let the animal conscious take control, his human conscious ready to step in to take over if needed. He broke into a canter, tossing his head happily.

Racheal let the medic give her a quick sponging over, resenting every second of it. She was soon dried off and wrapped back up in an ace bandage and a bunch of guases. She sighed as he told her to lay back down for the day. Glad she wouldn't have to do a bunch of walking but mad because now she wouldn't be able to do anything. A few minutes went by before Kailen came in, looking at his sister with obvious dissapointment.

Rikkes canter to the outskirts on the city before breaking into a earth eating gallop, making his way swiftly around the city, enjoying the run immensely, his big horse heart beating in excitement for this freedom to run.
