Camelot jumped out of the car, Villina tilted her head slightly to one side, her heart stopped for a moment. "Knew who would come?" she asked, the house looked distraught, she could hear the dogs barking in the basement. Camelot of course ran into the house and as close to the other dogs as he could.

Adam ~
Some people... He said. He knew who the men were and who they worked for. They were from Iraq. Adam gently touched Mason and Haley, urging them to go toward their mother. Haley and Mason both walked toward the car. I'll explain it later. He said, he put his hand behind his head, dropping the ring on his shoulder by accident. Adam tried catching it but it hit the tip of his finger and went down Villina's shirt. 'It's all over...' He thought.

Villina flinched as the cold metal of the ring fell down her shirt, she fumbled and it fell out the bottom, she caught it before it hit the ground and turned it around in her handd, she looked at him, she laughed, "Not exactly the most romantic way to propose." she said, smiling.

Adam ~
Yeah. I kinda figured that. He grinned. His face burned red with embarrassment. Mason and Haley had no idea what was going on so they crawled into the backseat of the car and fell asleep. Adam didn't know what to say about that. He just kept thinking, 'She is gonna say no, I'm an idiot.' Adam looked at the ground and then looked at Joker as he came walking out. He had bitten his way through the door.

Villina turned it over and over around in her hand, heart beating faster and faster, she looked up at Adam and found him flushing, 'aw, now that's just cute!' she thought and hugged him, throwing her arms around his neck. She was crying now, but not out of sadness, but joy. "Yes." she said and kept repeating. Camelot was next to Joker and he sat and watched his master.

Adam ~
He smiled and kissed her for the very first time. He was married now. He was happy and felt good. Adam felt better now. Joker was in the background barking deeply, a joyful bark. Adam had been married once before and Joker knew all the emotions that followed it. Adam grinned and patted Joker. He loved his dog so much and felt as though Joker should be the best man.

Villina smiled and pulled away from the embrace after several minutes she glanced at the dogs and then at him, "Why don't you come with the kids and I to my place... well, I suppose I could say our place, if you don't mind..." she said. Camelot was barking and he trotted over and jumped up, she caught him and huffed at his weight and held him.

Adam ~
Sure. They beat us to the car. He chuckled and pointed at them. Mason and Haley had their seat belts on but they were asleep. Adam grinned and patted Joker. Adam knew he had to replace the broken window, bullet holes, and broken door if he ever wanted to sell his house. Well I was gonna wait but I think I should tell you anyway. I was planning to buy a beach house. If your okay with that. He said. He wanted to live close to the beach because he could teach the kids more about marine life. Haley said she wanted to be a marine biologist.

Villina nodded, "Well, yeah, but I was just going to open my vet hospital. But, I suppose we can wait. Can we have the house built so we can design it?" she asked. Camelot jumped in the backseat as she opened the door for him and he sat in the middle. She closed the door quietly.

Adam ~
There is a huge open space a few blocks away from the Beach house area. We could even build the vet if you want. He said. He didn't want to make anybody uncomfortable in any way. Adam looked at Joker. He knew that Joker would love to be by the beach because it was a beautiful wide open space. Adam grinned.

Villina smiled, "sounds great." she said. She pointed at the car. "My big brother still has my truck so we'll all have to squeeze into my car." she said. She was very excited, she would be able to ride the horses on the beach, something she had always wanted to do, she would miss her mountain, but it would be something new.

Adam ~
I'll just follow you in my truck. He said. He loved his truck a lot. It had been through a lot along with him. Bullet holes in the side prooved it. Adam was planning to get that repaired with re enforced steel blocking the holes. He looked at Joker. Wanna take a ride? He said. He moved to pat him with his other hand but a sharp pain made him withdrawl. He gripped his shoulder, blood seeping through his fingers.

Villina noticed the flinch of pain instantly, having been trained to recognise pain in all creatures, even people. She took a rag from her pocket. "You okay?" she asked, offering it to him and acting worried, which she was. She glanced at the kids in the car and at the blood on his shirt, she wondered why she hadn't noticed it before.

Adam ~
Yeah, just a small scratch. He said, taking his hand off the bullet wound and putting the rag over it. It was a white rag that now had blood stains on it. Adam looked at the ground and then at Joker. Joker was sniffing the blood on his hand and began to clean it by nature. Adam pulled his hand away a little bit. Joker no. Joker looked at him and kept cleaning his hand. Adam pulled his hand where Joker couldn't reach it.

Villina smiled slightly, "he's just taking care of you. You can drive right?" she wanted to make sure, she glanced over his clothing to see if there was blood, she didn't spot any, but decided it was best that she had asked anyway, just to make sure. You never know.
