They soon came across the Swinubb hanging in a huge Spider Web, scared half to death.

Eevee mentally scanned through her attacks, wondering which she could use to bring down this huge web and help the poor Swinub. "Swinub, please, calm down some, okay? We're gonna get you out of there," she said, in an effort to help comfort the Pokemon. Then the thought came; how did this Spider Web come to be? What made it?

Zorua looked around. "This is too quiet..." he said, then looked up. "Uh oh..." he said, as a rather large Ariados repelled down from the trees...the same Spinarak from earlier on her back.

"Oh, great," Eevee moaned. "That's what I get for freaking out over a little Pokemon on my back." She looked up at the Ariados. "Do you think you could just let the Swinub down and let us be on our way?" Well, it was worth a shot.

Ariados responded by firing a Poison Sting, forcing Zorua to dodge. "She's a wild Pokemon, she really just protecting her turf."

Zorua used Shadow Ball on her chest, the two attacks driving her back before she countered with String Shot, forcing Zorua to dodge as she attempted Poison Jab on Eevee.

The attack barely touched her leg, just skimming it. It didn't cause much damage, and she was protected from poison. So Eevee chose not to even react, using Bite on the Ariados.

The little Spinarak reacted by jumping on Eevee's face and hanging on.

"Get it off, get it off!" Eevee cried, surprise making her overreact. Blinded, she stumbled backward into the Ariados.

Spinarak screeched and let go as her Bite landed on his front leg.
Ariados bucked Zorua off and tried to use Poison Jab on him, but he managed to dodge and blast him back with Shadow Ball. He jumpped up on his back and let loose a stream of Fury Swipes to her back.

At least now she could see. Eevee used a Take Down attack on Ariados, helping out Zorua.

Zorua saw Ariados try to use Poison Jab on Eevee and hit her, so he pushed her out of the way and took the attack in the throat, sending him falling to the ground coughing and clutching his throat in pain.
