Cody's ears perked up at Fern's answer and smiled a big wolf grin at the compliment that he just received even though he should have never heard it, of it, or about it. He started chuckling after thinking about what she said for a little while. He ran up a nearby hill and howled to get Fern's and her sister's attention.

"Yeah, I will," Fern said only to be interrupted by a loud howl. She looked out the window and gasped when she saw it was the same wolf that had been outside of her house when she had come home that day. She quickly covered up her shock and tried to calm herself down.

"Stupid dog," Mina muttered as she got up and closed the window, blocking out the sound of the wolf's howls a little.

Cody ran at the window very quickly and jumped right through it, smashing it into a million pieces. He looked at Mina and growled while stepping closer to her and chomping his teeth down repeatedly.

Mina screamed and gabbed the first thing she saw, which happened to be Rose's glass piggy bank. Mina throw the obejct at the wolf and, as it smashed, the coins fell all across the floor.

Rose tucked her feet onto the bed, moving as far away from the canine as possible until she was curled up by the wall.

Cody jumped at Mina and snapped at her belly threateningly, trying to get her out of the room so he could talk to Fern and not be overheard by anyone.

Ooc:// Oops. I meant Fern. I've been using my character, Rose, in a lot of roleplays late. I just got a little mixed up.

Mina refused to be shoved out of the room easily, and continued to throw books, pencils, a hair brush, and anything else she could at the wolf, trying to scare it away.

Fern, not knowing what else to do, looked around for something that would be helpful in either capturing or scaring the wolf.

Cody kept growling at Mina and finally jumped on her and bit her softly on her arm, knowing that he wouldn't draw any blood but knowing that he would scare any human by doing what he just did.

Mina struggled beneath the wolf and silently prayed that he would not kill her.

In desperation, Fern finally grabbed one of the glass shards of the window in her hand and swung her arm to slash the wolf. She cut a long, but shallow scratch on the wolf's back near the base of his tail.

Cody backed off of Mina once he was slashed by Fern and walked over to Fern. He licked her other hand that hadn't struck him, hoping she would understand what he wanted because she was a wolf now, maybe not a full-fledged wolf but still a wolf.

Fern stared at the wolf, and the hand that still held the close shook, wanting to drop the weapon. But Fern shook her head and tried to tell herself that she was not being sympathetic to this creature who had attacked her sister. She back away from the wolf.

Cody walked up to Fern again and whimpered sorrowfully. He looked at Mina for a while and back at Fern, trying to tell her that her sister doesn't need to be in there with them.

Mina finally gathered the strength and the courage to stand up.

Fern glanced at her sister, and then back to the wolf, realizing the wolf was try to tell her to get her sister out of the room. But she didn't want to be left alone with the creature, and tried to ignore her instincts.

"Tommy?!" Mina shouted out od Fern's door. "Help!"

Tommy rushed up the stairs when he heard his name being called and opened the door to Fern's door and was going to ask what she needed of him when he saw the big wolf.

Cold looked at Tommy and growled aggressively at him.

Tommy whipped out his gun at that moment and pointed it at the wolf.

Cody backed away from Tommy until he was behind Fern and whinnied for protection because he didn't want to hurt Fern's brother.

Fern stared at the wolf as he walked behind her, as if for protection. She didn't want to defend the creature, but she couldn't make herself move and expose the wolf to Tommy's gun.

Tommy said while trying to point the gun at the wolf whom Fern was shielding by standing between it and Tommy "Step away from that wolf Fern! It's wild and it will kill you if you give it the chance."

Cody licked Fern and nudged her forward to try to tell her that he wanted the others to leave so that they could talk alone. He hoped that she got the message.
