"Yeah, but where will we rest? We can't go off the river or Ai might track our scent. Do we sleep in the river?" Rio asked.

"Rio, she wouldn't of been able to track us any farther than when we entered the river. We've swam a longe way, farther than any wolf could smell. Ai won't find us," Sadie said. "So we can sleep on land."

"Trust me, Rio, I"m sure about this. The main thing to worry about right now is finding shelter," Sadie said.

Juno, obviously exhausted, trudged onto the shore, eyes heavy.
Laika was asleep on Rio's back, and was sleeping hard.

"Can you hold out until we find somewhere to sleep?" Sadie asked.

A hollow log caught Sadie's eye. "Found something that looks promising," she called out. It would easily fit the whole family, and the wood wasn't rotting, or showed any signs of cracking.

"Yeah let's sleep in there. At least no one will find us in there." Rio said.
"Now lets get her off my back!" Rio said.

"Just set her down inside, but make sur eto do it gently. Try not to wake her up," Sadie said.
Juno gratefully laid down inside, moss cushoining the bottom and sides. He was practically aleep before his head dropped onto his paws.

Rio lied down. He set Laika down gently. Rio was tired himself. He lied down and started to sleep.
Michelle and Kyle lied down and fell asleep next to Rio.

Laika was a surprisingly deep sleeper, and barely noticed the change. She did let out a small sound, but soon was curled up next to Juno, sleeping easily again.
Sadie layed down on the other side of the pups. Michelle, Juno, Kyle, and Laika were sleeping in between Rio and her, the order Sadie felt the most comfortable with. Despite how tired her limbs were, and how safe their shelter most likely was, it took a while for her to fall asleep.

The next morning...
Rio woke up with everyone still sleeping.
He nudged them.
"Hey guys you have to wake up." Rio said.
