Roki nodded, quickly moving forward to stand closer to Nika. He was glad to be able to do something productive, other than lay around and grieve. He actually wasn't quite done mourning yet, but even he could realize he needed a break.

Matya was relieved she was given permission to be able to just watch. It was wonderful to have an excuse, for she never had hunted before. She made do, or if it was necessary, ate a rabbit or two. But she had never attempted an elk, one of the main reasons being she had been on her own.

Nika smiled and spotted the bull, she ran infront of it, pushing the back end towards Roki so he could leap on his back while Nika tore at his neck, blood filling her throat and covering her snout. Her eyes went wide as her instincts kicked in, her paws clutched on the front of the huge animal, tearing him down.

Roki mainly helped, teairng into the flesh covering it's hindquarters. It soon lay on the ground, letting out a pitiful moan before releasing it's tenuous hold on life. He shook his head to clear it, tongue hanging out happily. He had been right, this was exactly what he needed to clear his mind.

Nika pulled the massive beast on her shoulders, its weight making her injured leg shake. "R-Roki, help please?" She asked, her voice tense from her efforts to hold the dead weight on her three paws.

Roki immediatly sprang forward, taking the weight of the hindquarters onto his own back. "Sorry, Nika," he said, apologizing for not seeing she would've needed help in the first place.

Nika laughed a little "Its fine Roki, now lets bring this to the pack." Nika watched as the hunting team began carrying their catches also towards the pack, they would have to make two trips. "I'm so proud and thankful for having such great pack members." She praised the team and they thanked her.

Roki's mouth watered as he waited for permission to eat.

Nisha half limped half ran over to the hunting group, after watching the work done my Roki and Nika. "Good job you two!" A smile lit up her face as her tail wagged back and forth behind her.

Talon jogged over to Nika's side and his pink tounge flicked out to run across the top of her head. "Very nice."

Soon the middle of the clearing was filled with dead elk, the bull a little ways away from the rest for the higher ranked members to enjoy. "Eat up!" She barked, throwing her head up in happiness to let out a howl that soon became louder when the pack joined in. A rush went up her spine, the same rushher mother felt when she was Alphess, then she knew everything would be okay, they would make it. "Talen, Nisha, Poison, Roki, and Rowan, come eat with me." Nika smiled, a bull elk and a two of the largest cows at her paws.

Rowan looked at Nika and nodded, rushing over to a elk and tearing into it, but he noticed a forth, medium sized cow, next to Nika, he wondered who it was for, but his mind was soon cleared once the taste of meat filled his mouth.

Xavier trotted past Matya, his eyes catching her for a few seconds. "Matya, Xavier, come join me!" Nika called, pointing at a medium sized cow with her paw. "She wants us...to eat with her, what a honor." He smirked, pleased that he had already earned a high rank in his new pack. He trotted over to her with a smile on his maw "Since you two are the new medicine wolves, you are in a high rank, so you should eat with," She looked over at her friends and back at them "Us." Xavier felt like he was just allowed to look into the life of a hollywood movie star, this was great.

Roki felt the last dredges of his grief disappear. He knew Amaya would hate to see him in a state of mourning anyways, so he gladly embraced the warm feeling of happiness and comfort. He quickly padded over to the large elk, seeming to bound most of the way there.

Matya was pleased she could share a meal with the higher ranks, and even more pleased she was one of them herself. But the images of the young male's punishment, and the threating words that would come into effect if she left remained in her mind, tainting the moment.

Nika smiled up at them from her meal "So..where are you from?" She asked the two of them, her ears twitched a little.

Xavier choked on a little on his chunk of meat, suprised by the sudden question. "Well..I'm from the pack down the river, " and swollowed his chunk "You should watch out for them." Nika's ears went up in intrest but when she saw that he wasn't going to continue the conversation she looked over at Matya "And you?"

Matya was as surprised as Xavier, though she didn't choke. The emotion mainly registered in her deep brown eyes, which had widened slightly. She swallowed quickly; it would've been rude and disgusting to speak with chewed up prey in her muzzle. "A small town nearby. My mother healed many of the dogs on the streets, and I followed in her footsteps. I left mainly because I felt that I could do more away from home."

Talon sat slighty off to the side of Nika, his hackles bristled as he felt strange and weary of the new canines among them.

Nisha ate her fill of the carcass and looked over at Rowan and then turn and limp off to were her spot was at the time that they still had not a firm territory to call their own. Her leg felt stiff and she hurt badley as a soft whimper escaped her throat when her head fell to rest onto her paws, her golden eyes raising up to gaze into the sky. "Tomoyo...the pack is in such a shaky state....my leg is useless and im getting old....wolves are dying all around me and i know i have something i owe you...i dont know what but i know i do. I have such...a feeling of dread Tomoyo...what are we to do?" Her greying muzzle lifted to look up at the sky more and her golden eyes softened with worry "If only you knew and could help us..." she sighed and looked at her torn up leg and then let herself rest on her side and fall into a deep sleep were in her dreams she ran, a young she-wolf who was a loner, she ran, black paws pumping as she found herself in the familar scene of the border of the LEATHAL pack territory back in the city when Tomoyo was alive. She took a pawstep into the territory and looked around, the calm that flooded over her was so peaceful as she walked deeper into the leathal territory.

Xavier smiled a bit at Nika before he spotted a gray young male sitting a liitle away from her. "Whos that?" He questioned, ears perked slightly in intrest. Nika blushed a littlebefore beckoning Talon over "Talon dear, come meet the new pack members." She called warmly. Xavier noticed how she looked at him, almost longingly, but mostly full of passion and what seemed like love. He figured it would be best if he examined how Nika looked at the different dogs to see what place they were in, and to learn to identify what place he was in.


As Nika waiting on Talon she took a quick glance around the pack, looking at each and every face. Most were bloody and contorted in pain. She slowly shook her head "Mom...What am I to do?" She muttered. Xavier tilted his head at her for a second then continued to his meal. Nika slid the carcass over her body and carried it to the center of the pack. Every pup and injured wolf may finish this meal." And with that she turned back to her place.

Talon walked over to Nika's side with a raised head and strong shoulders set as he looked over everyone of the new members, his main concern right now was someone trying to pull anything during the pack's weak state. But the natural walls that concealed his emotions was up ecept that a few bricks seemed to be knocked out whenever it Nika was invovled, The twitch of a smirk or a smile at the corners of his silvery muzzle, a flick of his ears and sometimes a slight swing of his tail. Looking over at Xavier he dipped his head politly "Welcome. Sorry the pack isnt in the best of moods now or we would have a proper welcome." his voice was velvety like now, the sound that had grown with him that was only a slimmer of presence when he was a pup.
