Suddenly the trio was interrupted by another canine, and Crash immediately flicked his ears backward. It took him another moment to turn, but when he did, he was grateful. Honestly, thinking it over, his actions only moments earlier had been stupid. Idiotic even. He didn't really want to go to the Pound. He didn't want to face up to everything he'd ever stolen. He didn't care to remember the painful memories of his past. His reckless move may have cost him, but at least this female's presence could cause a distraction; perhaps she could even lure the shepherds' attention from him and what he'd just said. "Who are you?" He asked with overwhelming enthusiasm.

Shaela shrank back from the corner. "I'm Shaela" she said. She was afraid now, only slightly. She walked out a bit more and revealed her silver coat....an unusal color for a labrador. The sun was shining down its hot rays and seemed to call her out slightly more.

Crash wagged his tail, forgetting the Shepherds for the time being and focusing all his attention on the seemingly shy Labrador. He noticed the coat shine under the waning daylight sun, and that same shine glimmered against his light blue irises. "That's a beautiful coat," He blurted. Now he was beginning to return to his old self. The Crash that simply aims to please and have a good time. The wolf that loves to live on the streets and laughs at any good joke he hears. "Why are you so scared?" He asked. "C'mon over here. I won't bite!" He said, giggling in an attempt to make her feel better, and in spite of himself anyways.

Delgado & Mango:
Delgado growls a little bit and follows Crash just a little bit. He sits down, now that he has found 'The Runaway' he won't let him out of his site. He barked loud but not at Crash. He was trying to see if any humans were around. Mango ran around, barking while his dad sat down.

Shaela came out even more and sniffed at Crash. She saw the shepard and smelt the scent of humans on them. Humans were no good as far as she knew. From her experience with them, at least. She wagged her tail very slightly. All traces of fear seemed to leave.

Crash was about to speak again to the female, when he heard a low, piercing bark from just behind him. He flinched visibly; perhaps this dog had not quite forgotten. If the thought he probably would be going to the pound wasn't bad enough, the younger dog began barking up a storm, obviously trying to attract attention... from who, though? When it hit Crash, he found himself barely able to keep from doubling over. He rushed past the female in a desperate attempt to catch the roving shepherd. "Listen-!" He started to say, but his plead was drowned out by Mango's incessant barking.

He was beginning to think that fighting was the only force to reckon with when it came to these dogs, and in a state of panic he acted upon the thought. Crash pounced on the little shepherd, at first feeling bad and having qualms about harming the little guy, but eventually decicing he would rather it be the pup than him. Out here it was survival of the fittest - and if that didn't work all bets were off. You were on your own. And, probably, somewhere in the back of his mind he didn't want the female to meet the same fate. Obviously, Crash would be put down at worst. Humans saw him as nothing but a nuisance... other than his old boy. The female he didn't know, but she looked pretty bruised up. He couldn't believe he hadn't really noticed until now. Perhaps he was used to seeing it; which scared him nearly to his marrow.

He finally caught Mango, gently putting his paw upon the canine's muzzle to keep it shut. Muffled barks were still escaping but at least he had him held down for now. Crash lost his momentum, and sat down tiredly. Today had been way to hectic for him. All he wanted now was to rest, and if he couldn't do that he would surely collapse from everything going on and just the severity of his stress.

Shaela looked at Mango and then at Crash. "What was he barking for?" she wondered. She looked at the puppy once again. Than she saw Delgado. The father had seemed, from what she had heard, to hate Crash. But she had no idea why.

Mango: Get your paws off me! He snatched away from Crash and started to sniff around. He smelt something delicious, it was a human food. He jogged over into the clearing, just infront of a human's house. The human was standing outside, Mango smiled and whined a little bit. He weasled food out of him and saw he was just an ordinary man. He sighed and walked around the town. Looking for a police officer. Delgado followed Mango instead, he had better things to do than follow Crash around. Once somebody saw they were police dogs maybe they would get a home. Maybe.
