Ben blinked. "What? Lurking??"

Cassie glanced at Ben, then back at Erin. "I think you're right. Again. Maybe feline instincts work the same way in both of us. And Cody's right too, maybe its the bear."

Erin sat up again, focusing. "Wait a sec, I dont think its the bear." she said warily, tensing. She felt her heart thudding against her chest. A crash came from the room next door. She clenched her fists and morphed into panther, hackles raised and claws out. She growled softly, showing her teeth.

Cody morphed and got up. He walked over to Erin and whispered in her ear "Be quite. So, I can hear them."

Erin stopped, but she headed to the kitchen. She walkedcloser and gasped. She softly slid into the room. "They found us,"she said after morphing into human form in order to speak. Her face went pale.

Cody morphed back after confirming what Erin said and said softly "She is right. They are hear. Erin, lead on. I will catch up but you need to get everyone else out of here."

Erin nodded her agrrement. She growled again. She took another stepforward.

Dakota's heart sank as she heard Erin shout the words she feared the second she left. "He was a spy!" Dakota spat at the ground. The bear she had talked to when she was a bear had spied on her, how could he! She ran into the kitchen and growed, hackles raised and claws out aswell. "We have to get out of here!" she whispered despeartly into Cody's ear and nudged Erin. "I know a place, we have to cross the highway. After that, they'll need the best dogs to find us," she encuraged them as she headed towards the front door but then a starnge man grabbed her by the neck and held her up in the air. She tried to sink her claws into his hands as she gasped for air but it didn't work. He has gloves! she thought as her eyes scanned his face in horror. "I don't remember this one," he grunted evily as he continued to stangle her. She was now making a chocking sound and was starting to lose her vision. It was all fuzzy and blurry, it was hard to see what was going on.

erin galnced behind her and pounced. She sunk her claws into his flesh and started to move downwards, ripping flesh. He dropped Dakota and they all ran out of the house, leaving behind dust. As she was running, she felt a hand on her. She was pulled to a stop, struggling. She yowled

Dakota hit the floor with a thug and gasped for air. She shook her head and blinked. She coughed and tried to het up but she couldn't.

Erin dug her claws into the ground as she was pulled back. She struggled hard, but stopped as she felt a prick inher side. She looked back a saw a guy with a tranquilizer. she yowled one more time before everything went black.

Cody growled at the men that surrounded Dakota and quickly jumped and sunk his canines into them, killing them. He pushed his way underneath Dakota and grabbed a hold of one of her paws with his teeth as he began to run. He saw Erin struggling against his own brother. He whispered into Dakota's ear "How fast do you think you can get to cover?"

Erin dimly felt rough cloth as she was asleep. She heard shouting too.

Dakota shrugged. "pretty fast," she guessed. She was set down and shook her fur. She looked back at Erin then shooked her head. "I'm not leaving," she said. She then noticed a man with a shot gun racing towards Cody and tripped him.
