Alaska howled along with them, her chest ached as she did so but it still sounded like a alpha female's, but gracful in a way.She then heard the convosation, it ringed in her ears as she looked at Haku, worry in her eyes."It won't happen Aleu...if it did the vet would fix us up.He fixed me up last time I got rabies from dog figh-." She stopped, the memories of murder replayed.

Haku felt sorry for Alaska's past of abbuse.He limped to her, put his head on her forhead, and mumbled "Shh...Shhhh...Stop looking back at the past, look towards the future!" He hoped this would encourage her, so she wouldn't have a heart attack from the stress."We need to get you and Aleu to the vet.And quickly!You two were bitten the worst, so we'd be better off if we took you both first."

Balto limped away from the group, looking down at the ground. He thought about the past, how he went from the town hero, to a father, to a killer, he knew what the wolverines had done was wrong, yet he killed a few of them, and that left him walking away guiltily.

Jenna was talking to Haku and Aleu, when she noticed Balto walking away in a sad position.She watched him walk a couple of feet in the other direction, then ran in front of him and said, "Where are you going?!" She looked at him like he had gone insane.
Haku wanted her to be checked out for rabies, so begged her, "Come on Alaska!I'll carry you there.You need to go or you might die!"

"Home." Replied Balto a he walked to his boat on the edge of Nome, as usual, Boris was cleaning the deck with a mop and a bucket of water. Balto sighed as he slipped underneath his old blue blanket and starred at the ground, he then layed his head on his paws.

((ive always wondered if he had the blanket sience he was a puppy...))
Aleu frowned. "Um.. vet? Whats a vet? It sounds terriiable." She said. She has lived in the wid most of ehr life, not having to g to the vets'. She had gone once when she was a young puppy, but she doesnt remember that fromm now. That was right before the was usspossed to be adopted!

Alaska smiled as she pushed herself away from him "I-I can walk myself....and I'm not gonna die!" She said almost harshly as she put Haku on her back and carried him ti the vet.

Haku didn't know she had put him on her back until she had walked about ten feet, for it happened so quickly."Alaska!I'm not hurt.I need to carry you!" He pushed himself off of her back then said, "Alright!That settles it!We'll both walk there, but I don't think they'll see a purebred Wolf." He still walked, not caring who they would see, only if Alaska was okay.They walked in to Kodiak in the same ally."Oh...Hey Kodi!"Haku greeted, "What are you still doing here?Shouldn't you be with your owner?"

Alaska snarled at him "And in the war?Helping your grandmother, sister, brother, ex-mate, and old friend?" She snapped harshly as she pushed herself against Haku to show she was with him.She then kept walking and found the vet's office.She pawed the door and whimpered and Dr.Johnson grabbed her then looked her over "Oh girl!What happened to you?" He asked as he got Haku "Wolf?You two together?" He said playfully as he pet his head.He gave them shot and bandadged them up and put them out "Go on you two!Better get out of here!No one likes wolves anymore!" He said as Alaska limped off.

Haku didn't snap at the vet, he knew she was helping him."Wow!....I would of thought they would chase me off the second they saw me!She was such a nice woman!"He remembered how elegant, and calm she was when she injected the rabies vacinations, and the pain killer.He stopped for a minute, looked at his bandaged wounds, then said, "So, how long do we have to wear these smelly things?"
