Cassie looked up at Dean, shook her head, and returned to watching Zane intently.
Dayla came up behind Dean. "Have you found anything out yet?" she asked her son.
Cody got up and explained it all to his parents.

Dayla opened her mouth to speak, but closed it again. She wasn;t sure what to say. Losing one of the pack was unimagineable. "Well, Cody. I think you're right. I mean, what else can we do besdies wait?"
Cassie looked at her alpha's with desperate eyes. "Isn't there some other way?"

"Yeah, I think he'd be a bit more comfortable in his own bed," Cody said.

Cody squirmed under his father's gaze. "I felt bad for her," he said. "I mean, to a human, family is like pack. And how would you feel if you were left out of something the pack was doing?"
"But its dangerous for her," Bridget argued. "All of us can agree that a girl among wolves is not the brightest idea."
