"Oh! Yah! Actually I was just out looking for him!" Dingo Smiled. "So! how have you been?" He stood and Jumped up on a pile of crates in the ally. And stood on his hinde legs.He grabed a pare of pants hung out to dry as his father would, and swung up to a roof (he figure he could see more from there.) Dingo looked out of the roof and lightning struck, iluminating a rat in the darkness headed right for Tomoyo. "Tomoyo look out!" He pounced at the the rat on the edge of the rufe and came crashing down on his side. He had the rat in his mouth but lay there weakly. He regained enouph strength to fight of the rat and then limped over to Tomoyo. "Are you alright?" He asked. "I meane did it bight you?"

Tomoyo yelped loudly as she limped towards him, a large gash in her leg remained as she licked his wounds "I'm alright, I've been threw worse..." SHe took a deep breath, her photographic memorie was handy at times but now wasn't it."Are you okay?" She looked up at him, her eyes glittering in the sun that wasn't there.She put her muzzle on his back and pushed him down until he was on the ground laying "You need to lay down, that thing was to big to be a rat Dingo...it was somthing else.She looked at his sister, she figured it was the demented cat that had been attacking dogs all around town.This cat was stronger than most and supposidly escaped from a illigeal testing lab.She winced at the sight of the cat when she met it last, her eyes darted away.She looked back at Dingo "It could've been that demented and twisted cat that has been seen around town, these don't look like rat bites, nor do they smell like them." SHe was a expert when it came to wounds, she had had so many.

"A demented cat?" Dingo started laughing in an on ofinsive way, and more of a Im trying-to-lighten-the-mood, way. He winced as he laphed. "What ever you say." He hurt so bad he could cry tough as he was, but he didn't want to not infront of Tomoyo. He licked her wounded leg. "Sorry I tried to stop him." He winced as he stood up. "Im fignhe growned." He weakly stood. "Seriously are vyoiu alright, the thought of dangers like this that his boy could have goten in to only maid him feal worse. He aked all over his back, his sholders, his stomach, his head, his ear, his paws. But despite his pain he tried to be as selfless as he could twords Tomoyo. Even if she liked Kodi. Ding managed to look up at Tomoyo with out wincing.

Tomoyo smiled "BUt this cat is unlike anyother, they say he is stronger than ten cats." She frowned and looked down at his wounds "Oh DIngo!Don't worry about me.." She said he asked her if she was alright.She burried her head in her chest and almost began crying, she realy cared for him.

The fear that ran through Dingo, his aking joints, his loss of blood, and his manny amotions for his human not to minchon his loss of apitite since his human went mising caused the world to sworl about him like a ride that would only speed up and wouldnt slow down. He heaved a sigh and fainted. The world still spining. He would feal quite dissey when he woke up! And likely a little sick to. He didn't know this though and he lay inccoharently on the wet aley street. What Dingo realy didn't know was the real cause of this was mostly from his loss of apitite and from surching out in the cold and rain. The combination of these things had twisted togethure in a dread full fever.

Tomoyo nudged Dingo, her eyes watering "Dingo!Plea-Please don't die!" She cried "I love you..." She whispered weakly, it sounded like she was slipping also.She nestled close to his chest, hoping that the heartbeat she longed for would show magicly.She waited, and it did."Hes alive!" She smiled, she looked at Neomi "Get him some food!Now!" She ordered her.

Dingo still half on consiouse barley opened his eyesand looked up at Tomoyo "You love me?" He groned akeing "I thought you loved Kodi?" Dingo tryed to stand on his weak shaking legs. When he finally did the world spun in so many diferent directions he thought he may get sick to his stomach, which already hurt from not eating accept for mayby a meal or to he foundin the garbage. He colapsed again disilly with a pain in his chest that spread to his stomach when he breathed and caused his head to ake, and back to throb. He was pretty much fully consiouse now but he cept his eyes closed for the world still felt like it was spining a mile a minut in every direction.

Tomy looked down in shame, but relived the cat was out of the bag this time."Yes, i have always loved you..but your brother is a kind soul and you were just so preocupied with the other females that I decided that you didn't feel the same." She looked up at him and passed him a old peice of chicken that was in the garbage that was knocked down from the rude intruder that hurt her beloved Dingo in the first place."Here, eat this..You seem hungry." She looked at his ribs, showing exremely like hers.BUt she was use to it, the hunger pains dimmed down until she grew immune from it all, living as a stray had its ups and downs, and this was one of them.
She remembered when she was a pup, her fur thin and drenched as she walked the back alleys of Nome, Alaska.She was looking for a nice place to stay since she could feel a storm coming.She looked into crates, but most were inhabited by rats or other dogs larger than her.Soon she found one, but a strong scent was near it, her nose twitched as it stung from the deep scent that embeded inher mind from thenon.She looked around, she saw a dumpster but knew that wasn't it, then she found her first rule of life as a stray, starvation.A dead dog, rib cages and every one visible under that shaggy brown coat, she shuttered, hoping she would never end up like this dog, dead on the side of the road, rats eating her remains.Tomoyo shooed the rats away and found another crate farther away, but she placed a lilly on the body, showing some kind of respect to the animal that never gave up until death.

"Ha! I always semmed preocupied with the laidys because you always seemed preoccupied with Kodi!" Dingo managed to laph weakly (He wouldn't have admited that if he had felt better). He gorged himself on chicken untill his stomack felt like he had swallowed a bolder whole. And he tried to calm his stomach with water but only managed to send the bolder down a raging river. He felt like his stomach was inflating to gigantic proportions but he still looked terably scrawny. He embaresdly belched as politly as possible and felt as though he had lost half his wate, but still like there was a bolder roling around in his stomach. He lay down fealing quite sick. "Im fine, just a little shaken up thats all!" He lied to Tomyo still concerned for her. He was completly consis now but he wished he wasnt, his head ands stomach throbed!

Tomy smirked-knowing that he was trying to act strong-and put her head under his, she was cold since it was just done raining and early in the morning.She nuzzled his chest slightly and smiled sweetly, her eyes closing as she sang "Go to sleep lil' baby...Go to sleep lil' baby..Mommas gonna cry 'cause daddy is gonna die.Got to sleep lil' baby." Her voice could outbeat any bird, its rythmic hum could make a harp cry.She closed her eyes and smiled before dozing off herself "Love....you.." She said in a very faint whisper.

"Tomyo!" Dingo barked snaping back awake. "Are you alright?" Dingo licked the top of her head and ran of to go find a place to relax himself and go through any symptoms of the fever that may embress him. Dingo wondered if his mother or father could help him but he didnt want to go to far off on his own in his condition. "I relay nead to lay down." He thought in a whimpper. He then came back weakly and lay down in the snow next to Tomoyo. Dingo had had a night mair about Balto dieing and Jenna being so insainly depressed she turned in to a phsico cat, rat thing and killed Tomoyo!

Tomoyo jumped up, her eyes darting around as she relized the whole scream was about her."I'm okay, I just fell asleep." She smiled as she giggled slightly.She stood up, noticed that falling asleep could cause Dingo a heart attack for all she knew."COme on..we gotta find your father.He can help us." SHe smiled as she let out a wolf howl 'Balto!Dingo is hurt!' She howled loudly, hoping he could hear.

"Not so loud!" Dingo groned for his head was acheing. "I mean dont hurt your voice!" Dingo didn't want to let on that he was fealing misserable. With all of his effort he stood. His stomach still ill and the rest of him still acheing. "Tomoyo I need to go look for my human!" He said stumbling forward a few feat untill he colapsed.

Tomoyo looked downa nd grimace d"Stop worrying about me DIngo, I've live don my own since I was born praticly with no human of my own...I mean I've ha da couple but in the end they all leave me, and bring their love with them..." She shook her head "I'm sorry DIngo but...hes gone." She looked down and kicked a can " God d*** it!" She said with anger, she didn't cry, she just let out anger as a good subsatution.She waked a round for a few seconds, not limping at all, her eyes closed.She was remembering her human, the one that realy oved her.But that was all in the past now, no lookin back, nothing to fix that day.

"Im sorry!" Dingo didn't know what amotion to use just then andbecame verry weak trying to decide so he lay back down. He tried to couph a howl to balto but his chesed and throat hert to much to make much noise.
