Shani cried "I hope so" Shani nudged Xavier "I love you and if you die I will die, I hope you know that,I can't live witout you,I love you." Shani hoped he felt the same way for her

Xavier, who had been silent through most of this, had a harsh quiver run through hsi body. The plants placed against his open and sore wounds stung as his mother said they might. He couldn't tell if it was the sting of something too cold or too hot. He opened his jaws and let out a cry od distress, jerking around, his white legs caked in blood going wild. Xavier clentched his teeth and his dull golden eyes flashed into agnoy. The pain! He wanted to fall asleep again! There the pain didn't reach him. His mother's singing was of good effort but the pain was too much. The prince used the little energy he had to twist himself around and to start to bite and rip at his own body. His wounds, trying to get the pain away. Fresh blood started to pour from one of his front legs where he was destroying the fur and skin.

Xavier was going into shock. All the pain hitting him at once. He had passed out before it had reallt got to him. Xavier tensed himself, trying to fight his mother's strength. But he stopped biting at himself. The brown and mized colored wolf wailed, his chest falling and rising at rapid speed. His blood was pulsing quicker then water in a stream. His heart hammered agaisnt his ribs. Xavier looked up his mother with scared and pain filled golden eyes. As his gazed fixed into her eyes he slowly started to loosen himself and the pain dulled just slightly. Only slightly, he started to move his weight in a rythmic fasion, whimering.

Shani watched as Hispeth put on the medicine and he starting attacking him self "No!Stop it Xavier!You'r making it worse!Please!"Shani cried as she place her body over his trying to keep him down, he bit her a couple times but she didn't budge as she covered her ears of the wailing, she hasn't heard such a thing since her parents died.Xavier stoped his madness, she couldn't even look him in the eye, she was licking his face as his mother sang the beautiful song shivering out of fear.

@Deni:Lol, I suppose    but I don't even know what a dream prophet really is! I just made it up...but we'll leave it in as a nice touch.

Adriana, of course, knew nothing of what had happened. But she was dreaming,in her unconcious mind. She felt like she was floating in space, unaware of time or where she was. She was surrounded by a misty fog, and felt terribly lonely. Suddenly she could hear a faint singing in her ears, and she struggled to listen to the words. It was some sort of lullaby, and the calming, soothing sound made Adriana feel suddenly relaxed. Then she saw a figure materialise out of the fog, and smiled as she saw her sister Shasta, grinning back at her. She heard her calling to her, but couldn't make out words. But she was delighted all the same.

"Can you hear the singing?" Adriana cried back to her, in a sort of trance. She didn't know that Hispeth singing the lullaby was in her head alone.

Hispeth sighed shakily with relief as her son seemed to calm down a bit, and slowly she loosened her grip. His body was still shuddering harshly underneath her.
"Xavier, my poor son." she sighed. "All we can do now is wait."

Shani glanced over at Hispeth "But what are we going to do about the other pack?He can't fight like this, I don't even think it's safe for him to be this close to thier land,they could take him down easily with him like this.What should we do?" Shani said as she sniffed the air to check if the pack she had smelled earlier were getting closer.
