Rochelle lay quietly, awake but not paying attention to anything but her thoughts.

Evan looked over to Jennie and smiled. Ethan looked warily at Sar, wondering if Everett was still alive.

Jennie returned Evan's smile with her own then looked down at Sar, who had curled up into a ball and grown quiet.

"Is he okay?" Evan asked, peeked over his brother to look at Sar.

Jennie nodded slowly. "..This is how he usually is." she said, looking up at the twins. "If no one's giving him orders he lays down and...is silent."

Evan nodded slowly aswell, a bit confused.

Jennie nudged Sar, who flicked his ear in response.
"Did you get hurt too bad..?" she asked him, wondering if he received any serious wounds during the fight. Sar mumbled his response and Jennie nodded. "It you say so Sar.."

"Hey Sar, you mind if I check you out?" Evan asked, worried for the pup's health.

At Evan's voice, Sar become alert, his head up in an instant. He nodded and rose to his feet. There were many wounds on him, but it was hard to tell what was new and what was scars.

Evan's eyes widened, and he gasped quietly.
"Oh my...You need...DWIGHT!" He called, before the wolf came bounding in.

Sar's head lowered at the sight of Dwight, his tail crept further between his legs.

Dwight sniffed at the pup.
"Hey. Don't be shy, unless your some demon or somethin'.." He trailed off, then smiling.

Sar lowered his ears and stared up at Dwight, now hoping he wasn't a demon for fear of what the wolf would do to him then.

Dwight watched the kid cower.
"Dang..were you abused or somethin'?" He asked, cocking his head.

Sar looked off. "It wasn't abuse.." he mumbled quietly, he refused to believe what his father had done to him was abuse.
