Vanessa perked as a collie padded up to them. It was Maya, Simon's friend.
"Halina." Maya greeted. "I heard Simon was hurt..is he okay?"

"He's okay, he just woke up moments ago, but we're letting him think," she said to Maya and looked over at Vanessa, "Should we tell her how he got hurt?"

"I'm going to go see him.." Maya said, moving to the door.
