"Hey!" called Virizon, running over.

"Master Virizon," said Riolu, bowing. "Good to see you."

Virizon nodded. "Same here, now it's time for your first lesson. You did want to train with me and my comrades, correct?"

Virizon nodded, leading the way to a clearing. "Just watch, no matter how long it takes, watch," he said, standing out as a group of Pokemon came out and stood around him. Virizon simply closed his eyes and waited. About five minutes later, arock was thrown through the air at the back of his head. He suddenly spun around and bisected it with Sacred Sword.

"Wow, that was cool!" shouted Riolu, amazed.

Virizon smirked. "You see, if you're surrounded on all sides by the enemy, then odds are sooner or later they will strike," he said. "But if you try to attack first, they may dodge. Therefor, the best thing to do is simply stand and wait for one of them to attack, sensing for their attack, then counterattack. That way you know exactly where they are and can take them offguard while they're striking.."

"That's a good question," said Virizon, another rock being thrown at him with no warning. He turned to attack as another was thrown from another direction, but he dodged, causing them to collide and shatter. "Does that answer it?"

"That's something most of us prefer not to think about," said Virizon. "If it does, you simply fight on, there's little more one could do."

"It's fine," said Virizon. "Now, are you four ready to try?"
