"But you're hurting him!" Van said frantically, hating to see her 'big brother' in any pain.

"Van.... please, let me get him to the vet," she said shakily.

"Just..be careful.." Vannessa whined, moving to her mother's side to make sure Simon didn't fall off.

"Come on, lets go," she spoke, and was soon off.

Simon still didn't wake once they got to the vet. Vanessa was at her big brother's side the entire time, worried as she could be about him.
By that evening, the vet had cleaned up and bandaged Simon and now he was laying in the back on a bed until he woke up.

Halina was also by Simon's side the hole time. Laying on the other side of where Vanessa was.

Simon didn't wake up til late that night. And when he woke he jumped up, suddenly alert and awake.

"Whoa, calm down Simon, it's just us if we startled you," she said and smiled at him.

Simon panted, looking around, though it was obvious he wasn't seeing anything.

Halina slowly rubbed his back, trying to slow down his breathing and heartbeat, wanting him to stay calm.

Simon took a deep breath and lay back down on the floor where he was.

Halina smiled, "Glad to see you're okay... w-what happened?" she asked wondering if he remembered the attack.

Simon didn't reply. Instead he folded his ears flat against his head and put his paw over his face.

"It's okay... I won't ask anymore," she said then set her head on her one paw still in front of her. Her other one still rubbing his back.

Vanessa nudged Simon's side gently, reminding him she was there for him.
