Sam turned her attention to Elessa. "So....what in gods name am i doing here? Every one i've asked has refused to tell me."

Storm looked at elessa.

"Well.." said Elessa slowly. "Basicly, 14 years ago Your parents, some friends, me, storm anmd kaien performed a ritual but it went half finished. You see the lightning and stuff? teh result of it going half finished. But dantes mother and your mother were 8 months pregnant when they did this ritual so you counted as participents, therfore you must be there." she looked uneasily at at Storm. "Plus, you have to fill in for your parents because you are he desendants of them." Elessa said the last bit in a rush.

"no." said sam quitely.

"Oh yeah" said Storm.

"No." said sam loudere, her hands tightning into fists.

"Dante whinced "Sam, my hand"

"Oh, sorry Dante." said Sam letting go of his hand. Then she turned to Storm and Elessa. "I'm not doing it." she said firmly.

"Er, yeah you are Ice Princess."

"I dont care. I'm not doing it!" said Sam standing up in indignation.

"acctually, I can ee her point" said Kaien "I don't want to either"

"Yes well you where there at the first ritual so you have to be. Ice princess her is just kicking up the dust because her parents did it." said Elessa to Kaien.

"Call me ice princess one more time and i swear to god i will show you teh true meaning of those words." said Sam

Kaien looked at her "You have to be pure of heart for it to work, I think I'm the least fiting here of that description"

Elessa looked at him. "Dont care. If it doesn't owrk, we'll do it again." then she looked at Samantha. "And again, yes you are, Dante, control your girlfriend.


"I'm not doing it! you cant make me!" said sam, she had clenched her fists so tightly she had made her hand bl;eed where her fingernails had dug in. Blood dripped down her hand.

Dante grabbed her "Sam please!"

Sam pulled from Dantes grasp. "No! I will not replace my parents!" she said, backing away.
