"Oh, sure. Actually, for our next lesson," Astrid said turning to the class, "We will do a trust exercise with our dragons. Everyone, on your dragon!"

They all mounted, Ruff and Tuff having a little difficulty cooperating, as usual. Nova removed Desert from her shoulder and looked at her comically, as if trying to figure out how to ride the thing.

"Except you, Noviepie, you can ride on Stormfly with me." They all mounted and took off. As soon as they were high above the ground, Astrid went into teacher mode. "Alright, now jump."

DragonArmy · **Posted:** Mon Feb 11, 2013 8:10 pm

"Is that falling-down game?" Nova asked.

Fluffykitty333 · **Posted:** Mon Feb 11, 2013 8:18 pm

"No." Astrid looked at Nova. "This is a trust exercise, you jump off your dragon, then you have to trust that they will catch you."

DragonArmy · **Posted:** Mon Feb 11, 2013 8:21 pm

"So which one is going to catch me?" Nova asked. Desert was doing flips and mini dive-bombs in the air next to Stormfly"

Fluffykitty333 · **Posted:** Mon Feb 11, 2013 9:49 pm

"I'll stay on Stormfly, then you jump off and we'll catch you." Astrid looked at Snotlout who was perfectly confident in Hookfang. Snotlout jumped off and kept falling for 10 seconds but was still really far from the ground (they were high up). Hookfang didn't even care. "Eh, you should probably catch him.... Only cuz I'll get in trouble for not saving him...." Astrid said evilly. Hookfang looked up from watching a leaf, then dove down to catch the butt hole.

DragonArmy · **Posted:** Mon Feb 11, 2013 10:04 pm

"Okay, as long as you promise Stormfly will catch me." Nova agreed.

(Love the drawing by the way!)

Nova jumped off Stormfly and saw the ground approaching fast. "Astrid!" Nova called. "Don't worry!" Astrid said zooming down towards Nova. She caught her.

DragonArmy · **Posted:** Mon Feb 11, 2013 10:12 pm

"Wow, now THATS an adrenaline rush!" Nova exclaimed. "I really need to get myself a dragon." She added as an afterthought

Fluffykitty333 · **Posted:** Mon Feb 11, 2013 10:13 pm

"Ya know, I think I might have the dragon for you!"

DragonArmy · **Posted:** Mon Feb 11, 2013 10:16 pm

"Really?!" Nova squealed, loosing her cool the second time in about 2 minutes, an all-time record.

Fluffykitty333 · **Posted:** Mon Feb 11, 2013 10:18 pm

"Alright everyone, Hiccup has done this with you before. You know how to do it. Keep going." Astrid looked at Nova, "Follow me." They went to the edge of the island, and Astrid got off.

DragonArmy · **Posted:** Mon Feb 11, 2013 10:21 pm

"What are we doing?" Nova asked in a whisper, sliding off of Stormfly.

Fluffykitty333 · **Posted:** Mon Feb 11, 2013 10:22 pm

"See that island way put there? Well we are going to it. It's the dragon nesting ground. All the dragons Go there to lay there eggs."
