"Well, Blaine, Find me a horse shoe. I have to change it." Morgan sighed, patting Titanic's neck. "Hurry up! I still have to tack Jamil up!" She said, getting irritated with Blaine more focused on Lady.

Blaine hurried into the tack stall and grabbed Lady's saddle and a horse shoe. She smiled when the bronze colored U shaped shoe came into her view. The necklace Ryan had given her last night was still around her neck.

Ryan stroked Titanic as the big horse shifted weight onto his other side. He could tell that Titanic would be good as new when this was all over. He always was. Titanic whinnied impatiently, wanting to run around again. Ryan smiled at Blaine, looking down at the floor and then up again.

Blaine handed the horse shoe to Morgan, who quickly started working the old shoe off. The rock started to loosen and eventually fell out once the old shoe was off. "Well that went better than expected. This might be a little more difficult, Ryan. Keep him calm." She said tossing the old shoe aside.

Blaine laid the maroon saddle pad across Lady's back, stroking her. "Lader, You better not puff up when I put this saddle on!" She warned as she started strapping up the saddle.

Ryan nodded, "Would you feel better if I did it?" He asked, just wanting to say something. The whole years he had Titanic, he'd only been kicked once for trying to put shoes on him. But that was because he was nailing to hard and wasn't paying attention to the signs Titanic was giving.

"You know how? He's your horse, feel free." Morgan said, handing the tools and shoe off to Ryan. "I'll help you if you need it."

Blaine walked Lady out of the barn and smiled at Ryan on the way out. She had to walk the mare in order to make sure the saddle was on tight enough. They walked a lap around the barn and Blaine tryed to tighten it. "Atta girl Lader! You didn't puff up today!" She praised, stroking the chestnut mare's side.

Ryan smiled back at Blaine and took the tools, he sat down. first making sure the shoe wasn't to big or to small then finally begining to put it on him. Titanic whinnied some, looking for a bit of comfort. "Hey big guy. Easy boy." He said, talking always made his horse feel a little better.

Lady raised her head high as Blaine tried to put the bridle on her. "Lader, We're not going to mess up our good day now, are we?" She coaxed, gently pushing the bit into her mouth. "Its okay, You don't have to work for very long.."
Once the bridle was on, Blaine tethered Lady up and silently walked ovver to Titanic. She ran her hands down his neck and tried to help keep him calm.

The red-haired girl gazed into the old horse's eyes.

"I'll bet that you really WERE a champion, Bull!", she said. Sighing, she looked at the ground, circling the toe of her shoe in the dirt.

"I wish that I could've been here to SEE you win back then!" Moving her face closer to the horse, she tried to kiss his nose, but he whinnied, prancing in a spooked way.

"Oh, no! I'M sorry, Bull!" The teen backed away slightly, but when she approached the horse again, he allowed her to pet the top of his nose, exposing his teeth playfully, so that she laughed.

As she looked at Bull, Jacklyn began to think about him, and a sneaky, sparkling plan formed within her mind.

"I wonder..." Leaning close to the horse, she smiled.

"Who says that you HAVE to be finished just yet?", she inquired, glancing around to be certain that nobody was eavesdropping on her.

Ryan finished the shoe, smiling deeply as he rubbed Titanic's leg and stood. "Good boy." He said, looking past him at Blaine. He smiled at her, slipping under Titanic. "Hello!" He said, gazing up at her as he lay under Titanic.

Luckily, Morgan had left with her horse before Ryan had said anything. Blaine smiled and walked back over to Lady, climbing up on her back and sitting sideways. "Hey." She said, giggling.

Charlie, who stood outside the barn, snorted annoyed, wishing Blaine would come back at once. He pawed the ground, digging up the grass and exposing the dirt.

Ryan smiled and mounted Titanic once more, kicking his sides until his horse was in a slow trot. Ryan smiled and stroked Titanic's neck, "There's my spunky boy." He said with a huge grin, now scratching Titanic's shoulder.

Blaine threw her other leg around and put both in the stirrup. "Let's go pick up Jacklyn, Lady." She said, riding the chestnut quarter horse out of the barn where Charlie stood. Blaine untethered him, and coaxed him along. He stood still, refusing to even budge. "Charlie, Let's go!" Her voice was harsh.

Checking her surroundings once more, the red-haired girl opened the low door of Bull's enclosure.

Once she was right next to Bull, a feeling of intense unease made her shiver, but she shook her head decisively, forcing herself to be bold and reckless!

"Now, LET'S just try..." She edged close to Bull, but the old horse stepped back, to the side, and forward again, trying to avoid her.

"OH, now...hold STILL, Sweet Bull..." To her surprise, the horse let Jacklyn stroke his face gently, and before the old horse knew what was happening, the girl was atop his back, and he was suddenly struggling.

"PLEASE, Bull!" begged the teenager, trying to calm poor Bull, who walked part-way out of his enclosure, thrashing his head angrily, prancing at the ground with one hoof.

"Oh, C'MON, Bull! Now, don't let anybody SEE us, or I'M TOAST!"

Try as the girl might, the old stallion thrashed his head, whinnying for mercy, pawing at the ground, his rump swaying uneasily beneath the weight of his would-be rider.

"Alright, Boy," sighed Jacklyn, dismounting and leading the horse back into his enclosure.

"We'll try again...at NIGHT NEXT time!", she said, her eyes sparkling with devilish enthusiasm at the prospect of NOT getting caught!

The chestnut quarter horse loped smoothly as Blaine neck reined her in the right direction, The shorter arabian falling behind. "Hup Lady! Hup!" Blaine kicked once, and forced Charlie to speed up with them. "What a lazy boy, huh Lady?" The girl in the saddle whispered, leaning forward slightly.
