Adam ~
He grinned as Haley went and got a book off the shelf. It was a children's book. What everyone didn't know was he had lost both of his only child and his ex-wife. He smiled and read the childrens book to them. Haley and Mason soon fell asleep on his chest. Adam smiled and put the book down. Kissing them both gently on their heads.

"I have to go home and check on the animals, mind if these guys spend the night with you? I'm just getting the vets office started tomorrow, so I don't know when I can pick them up..." Villina said as looked at the sleeping kids, she didn't mind taking them home, but they would have nothing to do tomorrow but play with toys and she was sure they'd want to visit Adam.

Adam ~
Sure, they'll be safe here. He smiled and lifted them both up. He waited till she left, he walked upstairs holding the kids. He laid them gently on the bed and kicked off his shoes. He crawled up onto the bed and wrapped himself and the kids up in the blanket. He smiled slightly as they all slept soundly.

Diana ~
She giggled cutely and got out of the truck. Pulling her skirt down to cover her legs in the back. She smiled and pulled her shirt down slightly. She had nice black heels on, black halfshirt, black skirt. She had a pierced bellybutton. -InsaneClownPosse

Villina realized that her brother had her truck and so she called a cab and rode in it back to the ranch.

Max smiled. He lead her inside and they got led to a seat. The waitress brought then menus and left them to look it over.

Adam ~
He slept soundly through the night but the children both woke him up at around 12 o'clock to go to the bathroom. Adam stood outside the door and waited for them to finish. When they came out they said that they were a little hungry. Adam gave them both a half of a sandwhich and it was back to bed.

Max grinned and ordered a crisp duck recipe and pork chops, figured he would have a meat night. The waitress tried to flirt with him but failed miserably. He ignored her politely and kept his attention on Diana. "So, how did you meet Adam?" he asked, trying to start some sort of conversation.

Adam ~
He heard something and woke up. He saw an image moving across the window and behind the curtains. He reached over under the pillow, pulling his gun out and sitting up on the bed. He stood up slowly, careful not to wake the kids and moved his way out of the bedroom door and he shut it. Making sure the kids were safe. He moved quietly down the hallway, pistol ready. He was punched hard in the nose and it made him fall backwards. He kicked the gun out of the guy's hand and they wrestled. Fighting to get the gun. Adam broke his neck and got the gun again, there were 3 more bodies moving around. Adam saw one turn and face him. Aiming the gun at him, Adam squeezed the trigger and the gun went off. It was war from there.

Adam heard the kids screaming and ran back to the bedroom. The guy was standing there aiming a gun at them. Adam grabbed him by the neck and litterally threw him back. Adam was choking the guy up until another man went behind him and hit him in the back of the head. Adam blacked out for a few minutes before waking up. He was tied to a chair and so was Haley and Mason. Adam looked at the men. Let them go! He said, fighting to free himself from the chair. Haley and Mason were crying. Haley's elmo doll was in the bedroom on the bed. All Haley kept saying was, 'Elmo! Elmo!'. Adam looked at them. Haley, Mason. I know your scared, but relax. I'm gonna get us outta this but I need you two to be brave for me understand? He said. He finally got out of the chair at the last possible second and punched out one guy. Haley and Mason covered their eyes. Adam got shot in the shoulder, blood covering his white t-shirt.

Max looked grim, he nodded, "I'm sorry, you probably hear that all the time, but still, I am." he said, he didn't know how to comfort her, it would be a terrable thing, for your own child to die...

Villina got home and finished setting up for opening day of the office, took care of the animals and then went to bed, she couldn't help but miss the kids, she sat on her bed and looked at pictures, finally, she picked up the phone to call Adam, she dialed and waited as the phone rang.

Adam ~
He looked at the phone ring. The man picked it up and held it in his hand. The man told Adam to tell her something but not about this. Adam agreed and answered the phone. Everyone around them fell dead quiet, not making even a single whisper. Hey, uh I'm with the guys right now. I'll call you back later. He said and hung up. He looked at her with a death glare. The dude punch Adam in the jaw, making Adam wince. Adam kicked his shin. Adam looked at the guy as he limped away to find some pain relief medicine.

Villina set down the phone, something had seemed to be off, but she trusted him to be telling the truth, so she sighed and got up, she walked into the dog room, where her dog lived and sat with Africa, Camelot and the pups. They were 5 weeks old now and adorable. She smiled and watched them walk around. All but three of them were reserved already and she was planning to keep the three who weren't. She would breed Africa and Camelot again next year too. Spinone pups sold for $2,000 because they were purebred and one of the top dog breeds in Europe and picking up fast in America.

Villina missed the phone, but as he talked, leaving a message, she sprinted to the garage. Realizing she still didn't have her truck back, she was relieved to remember she still had her sports car and she jumped inside, Camelot jumped in before she could say anything and they were speeding down the drive and onto the highway. Luckily there was no one on the road and they got to Adams in a half an hour.

Adam ~
He saw Villina and looked down at Haley and Mason. Haley and Mason walked about 2 steps and looked at their mother.Villina, if I would have known that they would have came... You know I-I... I want the best for your kids. He said. He saw the ring laying on the ground. He hurried up and picked it up off the ground before it was noticed. Joker and Jack were locked in the basement. Adam felt horrible. Haley and Mason looked at the ground.
