"Wow, this is the best breakfast I've had in awhile." he said playfully as he looked over the table then he looked at where she stood infront of the coffee maker. "Coffee's good with me." he replied putting his phone back in his pocket.

“I absolutely LOVE coffee; I’ve been drinking it since I was five…” Heather looked at the tiled wall in front of her in a deep thought “Maybe that’s why I’m so short…” She joked, and then began to pour him a cup. She added the cream and sugar in both cups and then carefully trotted over to the table and placed one in front of Atticus and one in front of her plate.

Heather sat down and began eating, oh how she loved to eat. She could never be anorexic because of her absolute desire for sweet ad sugary treats. But Heather had a very small frame, mostly because she rarely ate big meals and usually just passed the time by drinking coffee and smoking cigarettes.

Atticus smirked and sat down, beginning to eat. Atticus usually didn't eat breakfast, and if he did it was always whatever he could scrounge from the fridge. Lunch was whatever he could get in 5 minutes, because of his boss, and dinner was beer and whatever the local bar's special was.

When the meal was through, she picked up her dish and plopped it in the sink. She had to work her job at Starbucks today, but only for a few hours.

“Any plans for toady?” She asked, cleaning her plate and dumping the remainder of her coffee down the drain,

Atticus stood up and took his plate, carefully putting it in the sink. "I have to meet up with an old friend of my dad's this afternoon." he replied turning his steel blue gaze to her hazel eyes.

Heather nodded, this worked out perfectly, she had to work anyways.

"You're dad's friend? What does your dad work as, anyways." Heather asked, running hot water over the plates.

"Oh my dad's retired now, he met this guy when they where fighting in Vietnam." Atticus explained.

Heathr never did like war, or violence for that matter. Anything to do with death seemed to put her off. But she nodded again, taking it all in.

"That's interesting. My dad was never into that war stuff, he was a banker. Hah, and a lazy one at that." Heather mused.

Atticus chuckled "I wish my dad was a banker, I wish I had a normal family... but um, I've been normal." he replied stretching his arms.

"I wish my family wasn't so generic. I swear the moment that they decided to have another kid to fit the family stereo-type, I wanted ot get outa' there." Heather mused further. She chuckled and washed her hands.

Atticus gave a small chuckle and went back to the bed room, grabbing his shirt and pulling it on. He hadn't realized it until then, that he smelt of Axe bodyspray and aftershave. He walked back out to her rubbing the back of his neck.

Heather smiled when he walked back to her and looked at the mess on the table, then at the clock. It was later than she'd expected. "Aw man, I'm going to be late for work!" Heather pushed past Atticus and too her room. She stripped off her shrit and tugged her Starbucks shrit on. Heather replaced her jeans for a pair of brown kakees (Meh speeling?) Then bucked a visor over her head.

Atticus decided he better be going to, but he paused and waited for Heather to return so he could tell her goodbye.

Heather returned with a new hyper energy. She did a spin and then looked at Atticus. "Hey, so I gotta' go..." She said, looking at the door.

Atticus chuckled "Yeah me to..." he gave her a quick kiss then pulled away and looked at her "Can I come back over, when you get off work?" he asked.
