An hour later....

Rouges: Skylar. Come forth. The leader said it like he was a pup that had did something wrong. He was not in a very bad mood.

Skylar: He stood up and limped over. He acted to be injured, maybe they'd leave him. Nope. I will return Ava. I promise. He said and followed the rouges.

Ava cried and watched until he dissapeared, she fled into the forest, and hid, sobbing. After a while she stopped, taking a deep breath, she cleared away her tears. Skylar would want me to be strong.. She thought.

Skylar: He did whatever the rouges asked him to do. After about 1 year and a few months they let him return. Skylar ran. Looking for Ava, seeing if she had even remembered him. He sniffed around.

Ava trotted through the forest, tracking a herd of elk, she paused, looking at the sky.. Somehow it reminded her of Skylar.. Perhaps because it's in his name.. She concluded. She continued.

Skylar: He had grown a little taller and thicker. He walked up to Ava. He looked more rouge but his eyes didn't lie. Skylar needed to just get rinsed off and have the prickly thorns pulled from his fur.

Ava spooked, "um.. Hello.." she said, she narrowed her eyes, something was firmiliar about this wolf.. "wait, I know that face.." she said.. She though for a minute... No it couldn't be Skylar... Could it?

Skylar: He saw a butterfly coming. He growled slightly, swatting and snapping at the butterfly. He let off one final growl before the butterfly flew away. A snake slithered across his paws and he froze. It slithered around, up his back and wrapped gently around his neck. He was frozen solid.

Ava laughed, "It is you!" she said, and jumped around. She remember the snaked. "Oh, sorry.. um here." she said, grabbing it in her jaws and pulling it off his neck. She tossed it gently aside and hugged Skylar, tears of happiness streamed down her face. It had been so long... Life had been hard for the pack all winter.. her brother Mica had almost died. The pack had starved. She had taken up her old job, she had searched far and wide, even going off pack territory, but there had been nothing to find. Spring had been better, but no one was back to their old weight yet. The summer still hadn't been quite enough either, and now it is fall... Skylar's favorite season... she thought. "I missed you so much.." she whispered.

((I updated the first page.. if you wanna take a look, I posted the wolf gestures, but added a footnote that it's yours and nobody can use it. I just thought it would be a nice thing to have for future reference, so we dont have to keep looking up the page. So it's always on the first.... but I can take it off if you want me too.))

Skylar:
He grinned and hugged her. I missed you too. He whispered gently in her ear. He looked at her and then pointed at the necklace. I never left. He smiled and grinned a little bit.

Ava looked down at it, then grinned, "Yeah.." she said. She laughed.

Skylar: He grinned more. He looked around at the pack and took a deep breath. His pup and April were a year and nine months old. He walked around the pack with Ava.

Stormy & April & Maddie: With sad eyes they looked up. when they saw Skylar their ears perked. Sky! They all screamed and ran to him. They tackled him with hugs. We missed you! I love you dad! Your back, yay! Was what they were screaming.

Ava stood back and watched, laughing.

Rafi trotted over, "welcome back." he said.

Skylar: He grinned. It's good to be back. He smiled and stood up, stormy was glad to see his dad. Maddie had taken great care of them while he was gone.

Jayden and Mica trotted up.

Skylar: He smiled and looked at Maddie again. She was smiling and had sat down infront of a snake. Skylar shook his head.
