Katie cringed in disgust as he kissed her. She glared. "Lets get one thing straight; my EX in-laws are my pup's family, I will not keep them away. You can force me into this, but not into making my children unhappy. So help me, I may lose, but I'll fight if you ever try to make me do something that will hurt them." she growled, her claws itching to sink into him. "Got it?!"

Tai looked at Lena. "Ill do it." she looked at Cachen. "Think you can keep up?" she asked her brother calmly and sweetly.

Fang nodded. "Even if you screwed up big time, we're not about to sink THAT low."

Shenkin chuckled. "Still a bit of fight in you, isn't there?" he asked, smirking. "Fine, but whenever you're with them, I'm with you. Can't have you going behind my back, little dove," he stated. "Hmm, how do you think OUR pups are going to look?"

Cachen nodded. "Anything for momma," he stated, determination in his eyes.

OOC: Is that RP where Steele and Niju tried to forcebreed Lena and Tai canon here? I know that was a public RP.

"Well thank you." Kodi said, looking rather relieved.

Katie looked away, taking a step back. She sighed, though a shudder went through her at the thought of having Shenkin's pups. "Ive still got four to raise before I think about more." she said, looking disgusted and not hiding it.

Tai nodded, crawling away. "Come on then. Lena, Kai, keep an eye on him." she jerked her head towards Shenkin, before quickly crawling away, a distance long enough to stand and run.

OOC: Its been mentioned before and referenced in our RPs. I generally count everything in the timeline as long as everyone is cool with it.

"Alright, see Kirby anywhere?" asked Dusty, looking around.

Shenkin chuckled. "It's just burning you up inside that you read me all wrong, isn't it?" he asked, smirking.

Lena gave a shiver, hearing Shenkin mention forcing their mother to have pups, having flashbacks to a very truamatic incident involving Steele and Niju.

Kodi turned in a full circle, looking about.

Katie closed her eyes, tears of anger building up. "You were my friend... I-I trusted you. And what do you do?" she glared at him, upset. "You stab me in the back."

Kai looked at Lena, concerned. "Are you alright?" he asked.

Fang sniffed the ground. "I think this is his scent."

Shenkin smirked. "Blaim dear old daddy. All I wanted back then was to be with you, but he sent me away! He stabbed ME in the back, taking you away from me! My desire grew stronger and stronger as the years past, no matter what I got, it'd never feel the void. I learned that if you really want something, you've got to take it!""

"R-remember what Steele and Niju tried to do to be and Tai?" asked Lena, fear in her eyes. "That's what this jerk is trying to do to momma, isn't it?"

Kodi nodded. "He's definitely around." he said. Little did he know, Kirby was right behind him; Ralph had to hold back a laugh.

"You went against tradition. You never asked him to be my mate." Katie snarled, baring her teeth. She didn't like anyone to talk about her father, since he had died. "He also saw how uncomfortable I was, and how unwilling I was to be with you. He knew if you stayed you'd do something stupid. But you know?" she felt the tears coming. "I begged Papa over and over to let you stay. I told him it was just a silly crush. Yes- I STOOD UP for you!"

Kai frowned and nosed Lena's cheek. "We're here. If it gets too bad, I'm ruining this whole plan to keep Momma safe."

Dusty chuckled to herself. "Kodi, look behind you."

Shenkin actually seemed a bit taken offguard, but then smirked. "Oh well, whats done is done. You know, maybe, just maybe if you'd told me back then, I'd have understood, but when you let someone's desire grow for years under the impression the object of it was wrongly torn away from them, they start to get a little... obcessed."

Lena had tears in her eyes. "But... I don't want papa to get hurt..."

Kodi blinked, and turned around. His fur stood out on end as he gasped. "Ah... hi." he said sheepishly.

Ralph laughed at this. Though Kirby wasn't as amused.

"I can tell..." Katie said, shaking her head. "Shenkin, this isn't the way you wanted it to be. I just wish I could make you understand. All you're doing is hurting your own cause."

Kai gently licked her cheek and shushed her. "He won't, I promise. If anything, Papa will fight for Mama, you'll see. I know it."

"Kirby, Kodi has something important to say," said Dusty, seriously.

"You know, I'd listen to you, but I'm pretty convinced you're lying to save your own skin," said Shenkin. "Your father had no right to do what he did, but it taught me a lesson, never trust anyone, not even the alpha of the pack, if you step out of line once, nothing matters. The only way to get what you want is to take it, no matter what the price."

Lena whimpered. "I'm scared..."

Kirby looked to Kodi. "Well, let's hear ya start talkin'." he said.

Kodi sighed. "You, Ralph, everyone has a right to be angry. I don't expect forgiveness... I just want everyone to know I did mess up, really bad. And I wish I hadn't."

Katie grimaced, then stood straight. Her ear perched high on her head, tail held aloft; the pose of an alpha. "So... You don't trust me? Shenkin- where there is no trust, there is NO relationship. It's funny, because I still trust Kodi far more than I trust YOU."

Kai nuzzled her. "Shh. Everything's gonna be okay, I promise."

"Daddy!" yelled Cachen, running towards his father with Tai. "Daddy!" he called again, sliding to a stop in front of Kodi.

Shenkin chuckled. "Well it doesn't matter what you think dear, I hold the cards now," he said, his smile once more completely derranged.

Lena rested her head on her brother's shoulder. "You're sure, Kai?"

OOC: We forgot about Anabelle, didn't we?

"Papa!" Tai actually crashed into him, her body trembling form exertion. "Papa! You have to come quick!"

Kodi grunted. "Tai, Cachen! What's going on?" he asked, makign sure they were okay.

"Shenkin! Momma! Help!" Tai barked out, too panicked to do anything else.

"Slow down, sweetheart. WHAT is going on? Where's your mother?!" Kodi asked, afraid.

"Do you?" Katie asked looking about for something, anything to use to distract him. She looked fervently without moving her head.

"Yea, look," Kai whispered, listening to Katie. "Mama needs a distraction..."

Dusty looked to Kirby and Ralph. "These are Kodi's kids."

"This mean wolf named Shenkin, we thought he was momma's friend, but then he told her if she didn't be his mate he'd... he'd... he'd kill you and her both!" explained Cachen, bursting into tears at the end.

Lena blinked, lookg to Anabelle. "Can you do anything?" she asked, knowing angels couldn't hurt living beings, but maybe post a distraction.

Kodi's eyes widened, shushing Cachen softly. "Take me there." he said, ears pinned back.

Tai nodded. "But you can't go bursting out. He'll really kill you and Momma! Papa, he's CRAZY!" she said, tears brimming in her eyes.

Kirby, though still mad... He nudged Kodi with a paw. "If this guy's really a whackjob like your kids say... We're coming too."

Kodi was shocked. "You'd really come with me?"

"Why not? It's a good chance for you to redeem yourself. We're coming for backup."

Anabelle looked onto the scene and nodded. "I think maybe I can manage something..." she said. A light glowed from her paw. Twigs cracked and bushes shuffled, almost as if there was someone in the other direction, looking for them.
