"But my gut feeling said otherwise." Rusty said sitting down next to her. "I'm sorry for snapping. I mean honestly I wasn't expecting to come back to that."

Wuffrith sniffed and said "Comfort me, Rusty. Please. I need you to get me over what I'm feeling. I feel bad, not because of my father but because of what I did to you. I feel like I did something very stupid and I lost you as a mate because of it. I'm such an idiot. You deserve at least, AT LEAST, a half decent female, Rusty, and I'm not half decent. I'm not even a quarter decent female. Why did you settle on me when you could have had a much better mate from another female?"

"No, no I don't. You're the one for me. I know that for a fact. You are a perfectly good female for me. I know this for a fact. I mean we even mated for godssake. You are perfect at being you and nothing will ever change that." Rusty said trying to make her feel better.

Wuffrith felt a little better but said weakly "Thanks but it matters little difference to me right now. I pounced on you, Rusty. POUNCED ON YOU. What kind of mate does that to her mate? I'm a horrible mate!!!!! I don't deserve as good of a mate as you are, Rusty, because I'm a horrible one."

"No you aren't got that? You did that because your father died. It was your father for crying out loud. You were mad at me but you aren't anymore. Cheer up c'mon, I love you and nothing will ever change that." Rusty said into her ear.

Wuffrith nodded her head and sighed. She looked into Rusty's eyes and licked his muzzle. She smiled a little bit and said "Thank you. I am feeling better but I truly doesn't help. I feel so bad right now that I don't think anything will cheer me up and get me to my usual self except maybe for one thing. Rusty, I need YOUR comfort. The comfort that a mate gives to another mate from time to time. Could you comfort me that way? Please. I need you, Rusty. I need you more now than I ever needed you before."

"So twice in one night?" Rusty asked believing he knew what she wanted.

Wuffrith nodded her head and said "I think that's the only way to cheer me up but you don't have to if you don't want to."

Rusty smiled, "And that's how I get cheered up too" he said. And then he bit down onto her neck.

Wuffrith shivered in pleasure and licked Rusty's muzzle lovingly. She said "Thank you for doing what you did for me, Rusty. I love you more than life itself. Could we sleep now and we can go after the pack in the morning? Please. I'm very tired, Rusty. I would like to curl up next to you and just fall asleep, laying my head over your neck. PLEASE."

"Sure I guess we can sleep here. I mean I am pretty tired after everything that's happened tonight." Rusty said laying down next to her.

Wuffrith curled up next to Rusty and laid her head over his neck. She said lovingly "Good night, Rusty. I love you more than anything. I am glad that I have you all to myself. I'm sorry but I'm selfish, ain't I?"

"Just a bit" Rusty answered laughing a little bit to himself.

Wuffrith snorted and said "Like you aren't." She kicked Rusty softly.

"I never said I wasn't" Rusty replied with a laugh.
