Jenna smiled.
Dixie yawned.
Dana ate and drank then stood. She tried to speak once more but only a little squeak came from her throat. She looked down angry. She ran and nuzzled Kaltag then stood away from him. She pulled him outside into the snow and wrote with her paw the message.... "I love you Kaltag...but I can't be with you if I have no voice. If I get it back I will seek you out. I love you..." As Kaltag leaned in to look Dana walked a few paces back. Then when he wasn't looking she dash into the maze of trees. The woods, where he could never find her...

"I think we should check on Dana...and Kaltag for that matter..." Jenna said kissing him lightly.
Dixie smiled. "We should check on Dana and Kaltag." She said stretching.
Dana ran, tears blurred her vision but she kept going. Kaltag deserved better then her. He deserved someone who could talk with him. Not make squeaking noises. But she loved him, she would climb the highest mountain for him. And so she was making the hardest sacrifice...leaving him.
*She will come back... and I know that that sounds cheesy what i said for Dana haha...*

Jenna walked with him down the streets towards Kaltag's house.
Dixie jumped out the doggie door waiting for Star then walked down the street.
Dana, exhausted, lay down in a pile of leaves. The air had a chilly feel to it. She tried to sleep, but her mind kept wandering. She was scared. The forest animals made many noises some big and some small, Dana kept looking around to catch sight of a wolf, or fox. Something that would hurt her.

Jenna looked around and caught sight of Dixie. "Have you seen Kaltag?" She asked.
Dixie saw Jenna she shook her head. "I was about to ask you the same thing.
Dana jumped up throwing Kaltag sprawling. She growled but it was silent. Then she saw who it was she shook her head tears flowing and took a step back.

Dixie gasped.
Dana shook her head faster. She stepped back. She wrote in the dirt. "No." Then took a few steps back. Her body shook.

Jenna shook her head a tear falling. "Kaltag loves her..." She murmured.
Dixie nodded agreeing with Jenna.
Dana shook her head. She opened her mouth, and screamed with all her might. First just squeaks emanated, then slowly quietly at first she heard the faint sound of her voice. It grew louder and louder and she kept screaming eyes closed wishing, hoping she would get it back. Then as if a balloon blew up her voice shouted our of her mouth. The words clear and defined. "I LOVE YOU!!!!!" She screamed, she cried out and sighed then screamed again happily she kept screaming then howled, a beautiful song flowing out of her muzzle. The song carried on for a while then she stopped out of breath she sucked in air not noticing she had been holding it. The world spun and she was on the ground weak from lack of air. She motioned for Kaltag to come closer, sleepiness creeping up on her. He moved to her and she whispered faintly, the waves of sleepiness overcoming her. "I...can...speak......" She whispered then smiled and fell into a deep sleep.

Jenna looked up and saw Kaltag with Dana. "Kaltag! What happened!?" She gasped.
Dixie gasped.
Dana dreamed peacefully, she dreamed of herself singing for Kaltag. Singing had been her passion as a pup, her parents thought she had a wonderful voice but she was scolded with Emmet heard her.
