Zac now realized why Skye was upset and said, "I know how you feel, trust me. It happens. Not just to you, it happens to everyone. If Conner really likes Brook, maybe you should give him a chance? He'll eventually come to you. You just have to wait for the right time. I mean c'mon, it's high school. Relationships rarely last forever. So this one will probably be the same. C'mon, let's go back inside and have fun. You shouldn't waste your time on that guy right now. Go ahead and waste your time with him once he's not interested in Brook anymore." He chuckled lightly, then stood up. He held out his hand to Skye as if to want to lead her back into the cafeteria.

"I'll come in a bit," she said, her eyes rimmed red, her face pale and streaked with tears. "You go on ahead," she said, her voice still thick and clogged. Zac was right...but that didn't mean it still didn't hurt. She wiped her eyes in an attempt to stop them again, and her eyes dryed a little bit, her vision not quite so fuzzy. She brushed back her dark hair, filled witht more of a hollow feeling now that she had cryed it all out.

Zac nodded. "Alright, but don't stay too long or you'll miss the rest of lunch!" he joked, then he headed back inside the cafeteria. The table was almost completley full, so he just pushed some guys slightly to the side. He then squished in to sit, and the guys who had been pushed laughed and continued on with the game. OOC: So has everyone been dared? Can we skip to the mansion scene soon?
