"My Step parents are Nice, but my step brother beats her. she needs to come with me, i'm her only family, the only one who really takes care of her." she said lifting her baby jump suit buttens to show a body full of bruises. She closed it back down. "She's safer here then their." she Pointed out. she watched as mariah Sucked her bottle. "She always chuges her milk." she lifted the bottle for her. still walking around with her. she reached into the bag that she brought, she grabbed a little blanket, wrapping it around her. she got a extra soft cloth, she noticed she was leaking the milk down her chin, she whipped it off.

Shay shrugged. "Ok, but do you really think taht's a good idea? Why not just deal with your brother? You broyght her to a house filled with vampires, no offense to the rest of you. I wouldn't suck her, and I'm not beleiving this, I'm just saying that one of us might!" Shay said, extiungishing the flame that was flaring up on her arm, sensing the emotions that rolled in turmoil inside her. And that wasn't the only reason for not wanting the kid here, it was, she remended Shay os her own sibling. THere were differences, but they had the same eyes, and the same sweet, trusting expression. SHe took in a breath, her true feelings of sadness showing clearly on her face, although she tried hard to hise it.

"I'll protect her, and once she's old enough to make the desicion, i might make her one of us.." she said shyly. She's fine.

Shay sighed. "Fine then," she said, flames unbiddingly flaring up, appearing form no where. The raced along her, and she didn't bother to put them out. She stalked outside, flmaes higher and hotter than before, fueled by her turmoiled and mixed emotions.

Ian tensed and he backed away as far as he could from the child. He didnt want to have an accident with her, he hadn't eaten for a while. He looked at the others with panick in his eyes but not letting it show on his face. "I....she.....human child." He slipped out of the room and went back into the other room were he had dropped his guitar. He picked it up and sat on the bed with it, he started playing a random song.

Shay walked away from the house, covering her body in flames to ward off the sun. She walked through the thick forest nearby, the flames slowly sputtering and dying as she calmed down.

Ryan watched as Ian left the room. He then looked to the infant. He licked his lips as the burning feeling in his throat came back. He looked away, and grabbed the blood bag. He drank some from it, and sighed as the burn went away slightly. He also watched Shay go out the door in flames. He wondered why she left so suddenly. Ryan then looked at Buddy, who padded over to the human child. He sniffed her, and barked, then he licked her forehead.

Shay's furious breathing slowed, and she was glad of the shadows and leaves that covered the sun in this area. She stared at the leaf strewn ground, scuffing it angrily. She understood why SHelby had done that, but now she wouldn't be able to look in her direction without thinking of her sister. Who had died because of her. Unbidden tears sprang to her eyes, and her face felt hot. Glad that no one was here, she sank to the ground, leaning on a thick tree. Her breath came in ragged sobs, and soon tears were spilling down her cheeks. She wiped at them furiously, not wanting to cy, not even alone. But she oculdn't stem the flow. She had buried the emotions too long, and now they came out with each salty tear.

Shelby looked at all the others. "Do you guys think you can deal with the baby?" she said. "I do it with hostility, but can you guys handle it?" she asked shyly she looked at buddy. "i'd pet you but my hands are full." she laughed at mariahs face, it was contused as she Grabbed buddys nose and Wiggled it around. she soon made giggling and gurgling noises.

Shay finally let them fall, each one sokaed up by the ground as it dripped off her pale cheeks. THe sobs finally ran out, but the memories were still there, seeming more vivid and painful than before. One more tear fell, tracing a trail down her cheek before dripping down, to be soaked up with the rest. She wiped her eyes dry, sitting beneath the tree, the rough bark supporting her, the only solid thing right now.

Dallas looked down at the sleeping form of her beloved and only friend. She gently stroke him over his ears. She was grateful that she had left Charlie just at this spot, were the sun did not show itself. She remembered that she have to get back to the house and started standing up, which made the unknowing Charlie to wake up. Dallas laughed for the first time of the day and started walking, it wouldn't take too long to get to the house by now. They started the walk together.

Ian stood up and walked around the room, his throat burning. But he wouldnt hurt the human child, he wouldn't....he just......just couldn't. He closed the door, trying to stop some of the scent of the child's blood from tempting him.

Shay buried her face in her long sleeves, the leather jacket smooth and cool against her hot face, that was flushed from crying. Her eyes were still red, she was sure of it, and she wiped her eyes again to wipe away any trace of moisture. She felt empty, hollow in a way, after getting rid of all that. she had been holding it in for so long, it felt good to get it out. But embarrasing, even if no onew was there to see it. She lifted her head, smoothing her long dark hair that had framed her face like a black curtain.
