Same question, which are they? I think that maybe the old articles (< 2007) can't be edited because they weren't associated to accounts then. These aren't pre-2007, though, that's the point. http://www.animationsource.org/balto/en ... id_film=10Here's one, I can't find the other one now. I needed this one to be deactivated and worked more on because it isn't even finished and somehow ages ago it was approved and sent to the site EVEN THOUGH I never pressed "send for validation". A year later and it STILL shouldn't be on there. If this is because I've changed my username since then, that'll be incredibly failsome.

Not only is there a delay of several minutes quite often (after a post is entered or the chat moves at all), but sometimes the entire chat will disappear from the box window for more than a minute or two. Then re-appear, then disappear again for a minute or so. Today was especially bad. I think this happens when you submit a message when the shout box is reloading. You can slove the problem by refresing the page, it works for me. Thanks, Togo. This happens to me alot.

And traditionally, if I refreshed the page, what I had posted last time gets reposted. Refreshing the page has always re-posted your last sent message. Nothing new there. But yes it is lagging quite a lot, even on my end, where it's usually very good.

Not if you click the "refresh the page" link...just above the shout box. And about the "lag" as you call it, it's a problem that I can't reproduce locally, which makes it difficult to correct - I'm not 100% sure about what's causing that. But probably just the fact that the more messages get posted, the more slow it becomes - which is why I'll be adding an "auto vacuum" of the messages.

Thanks for the tip.

Character Pofiles not being accepted in art description. I have recently added a new Fan art and have been having problems adding the Fan character pofiles to the art description, When i select one of the Fan character profile I would like to deplay in my art description it takes me straigh to the main Animation Source site. This is on Balto source but not sure if it also happens on the other sites.

Major lag logging on today, site wide. Even had to refresh the SB manually...

But probably just the fact that the more messages get posted, the more slow it becomes - which is why I'll be adding an "auto vacuum" of the messages. Well all I can tell you is that I tried your suggestion, and the box still turns up blank again after momentarily blinking back in. And stays blank for up to a minute at a time. And I know it's not my connection that's the problem. I checked with my service provider, and even had a tech out (which didn't cost me anything). It's something to do with either the site or the server. It simply has to be. And even if it is about the amount of messages being posted, I'll go back to my earlier point about how this wasn't happening so much before this general update of the site. Sure - there were occasions when the box would lag or even freeze...or the site itself would suddenly not be available due to some server issue. But it was nothing like the problems appearing now. And clearly, enough people have been talking about it. Maybe not here, but you may rest assured that they are talking about it. And not in a happy or "oh well, that's the way it goes when you're logged onto a site with a lot of activity" kind of way. I'm not having exactly the same problem - however it is lagging much more than usual for me. I still see all the messages, but sometimes it may take as long as a minute - even two, for new messages to appear, even when there's tons of people and the posting is regular. The timestamp will be on par, with when the message actually appears. The occasionally (hasn't happened to me, but others have said so) some peoples' messages don't appear at all. They just disappear into the data nexus of the internet o.O
