Shade and Fang heard Blue cry, "FRESH KILL!" and they both suddenly realized how hungry they were. Fang paused for a moment, then said to Shade, "I'll get the food. It's not safe for you to run with the babies. I'll be back." Fang said with a smile. He turned and ran up to the pile and took the last two voles. Fang had thoughts go through his mind, If hope no one asks where Shade is... and I hope no one asks why I need so much food...

Ooc:// Can somebody come up to Fang and ask? That's how I planned everyone would find out about the pups.

Ooce: Btw When the puppys are born can i be one? Please Please Please
Kayla smiled and laughed as she ran along side Matt. "Oh look, a hair!" She grawled and atacked it. "Hey". She aproached Fang. "How are you this morning fang. I was just hunting for Shade." I wanted to try to eas over the pain of our friendship so Im getting her some breakfast. Your her friend, close friend, does she prefure squirl or hair?" Kayla waited a minut. "Were is Shade anyway?"

occ: The pups are all being played (sorry to bring the bad news XP)

Surge chuckled as he picked up a small mouse for a snack and sat down a few feet away to listen to what Fang would say.

Blue Called for Fang. "Fang, come here." She ordered.

Sunny Smiled As she lifted her head. She smiled, Ameo Lifted his head too, "You got a little blood there.." she licked it off, "You too, And thanks." he mumbled as he Licked hers off too.

Kayla waited for an answer. When she saw a small shrew and pounced on it. "A side dish!" She said smiling in a childe or puppy like way. She continued to wate for an answer. "Sorry about that! Didn't want it to run away!" kayla listened to the sounds of the forest. They were beutiful.

Fang looked Kayla in the eyes and boldly stated, "Shade's pregnant. And I need to get back to her." Fang left Kayla and walked by Blue, saying, "Not now, Mom. I have to get back to Shade."

Ooc:// Is Blue Fang's Mom or Dad? I'm confused

Fang carried the two voles back to the den. Shade was laying on her side, panting. Fang dropped the voles and rushed to her aid. "Shade!" he said worriedly, "What's happening?!" Shade panted and then gulped and said, "Puppies..... coming.... get help...." Fang's ears pricked straight up and whimpered. He ran out the entrance of the den and howled for help.

Surge jumped to his feet and ran over. "Fang, out!" He growled but not in a cruel way. He called for Blue. "Blue! Its Shade! the pups!" He turned and looked at Shade, he ran over to her and gave her a quick lick on the head "You'll be ok Shade." He turned and sat at the entrence of the den.

Ooc:// Whoever was supposed to play Liam Jr., I was kinda planning on being him, so will you be Madden? I'm really sorry for the sudden change!

Shade gasped for air and cried out when the first pup was squeezed out. It was a he, and he whimpered right when he hit the ground. He was dark orange, darker than Fang, with black and white stripes. Shade laid her head on the ground, mostly out of tiredness, but also out of relief. She suddenly yelped as the second pup's head could be seen. This one was a girl, and she had a white muzzle. When the girl pup came fully, they could see that she also had a white belly, gray body, lighter than Shade's, and an orange spot on her forehead. They were both healthy and good-sized, and Shade thought everything was done, finally.

Fang was waiting outside impatiently and pacing back and forth. He heard Shade's howling cease, so he thought everything was over and the pups were here. He also thought the worst, however. Is Shade okay? he thought.

Shade smiled and gave a contented sigh. She felt her little bundles of joy cuddle against her stomach and nurse gently. She almost fell asleep when Fang entered. He licked her head and laid down next to her, overlaying his paw on hers. Suddenly, Shade clenched her jaw and rolled over in pain. "Shade?" Fang said in worry. She gave no reply but a series of barks, and not normal ones, but ones that had hurt written all over them. Another pup popped his head out. Fang knew it was unhealthy for a pup to be born this late... and this small! The last pup was much, much smaller and thinner than the other two. It was a he, and he was solid black with floppy ears, while the other two had pricked-up ears. The third pup was fully out, and Shade & Fang noticed he wasn't moving towards Shade's tummy area. He was sniffing around, wondering where he should go. Shade tried to reach him to push him in the right direction, but she couldn't reach. Fang pushed the puppy gently with his nose and the puppy immediately began nursing.

"Liam..." Shade whispered. Fang answered, "What?"
"The black one... He looks like the step brother I had... before he was killed... His name was Liam..."
"Then why don't we call him Liam Jr.?"
"I'd like that... Thank you Fang..."
"I love you."
"I love you too..." And just like that, Shade fell asleep with her pups snuggled at her side.

occ: Sure. Its ok. *pats Liam Jr. on the head. Be good Liam! Runs over and hugglez Madden*


Surge sliently walked into the den and sat down by Fang "What do you think?" He whispered in question as he looked down at the small pups.

Kayla stood at the edge of the den. "I understand if this is a bad time but I have something for shade." Kayla droped the two hairs she caught at her feat. "Could you give them to shade when she wakes up, and tell her there from me?" She politly asked. She looked at fang with soft eyes, glad that she could finally relate to this fealing. She sighed and thought of Matt.

"Thanks Kayla." Fang said with gratefulness. "She should be up in about twenty minutes. Giving birth is alot of work, I assume." Fang nuzzled the puppies lovingly, and when he got to the scrawny black one with floppy ears, he whispered, "Bear your name well, little Liam..." The puppy snuck under his father's nose, as if to say, "I understand."

In exactly twenty minutes, Shade's eyes flickered open. She felt the soft bodies of the pups pressed up against her, which made her sigh with joyfulness. Fang saw this and began, "Kayla dropped off some hares for you. And don't worry, I didn't eat any!" "Fang." she interrupted, "I think we should name the other two now. They should learn their names early." Fang nodded and pushed the oldest male pup to her face so she could get a good look at him. He was squirming around, as if looking for a good fight. "Madden." Shade whispered. "It means strength." Fang loved the name, so he said, "That's perfect. And what of the female?" Fang pushed the female pup closer to Shade's face. "She's gonna grow up to be very beautiful. I know it." Shade stated. Fang mentioned, "How about we name her... Naomi? It's a name of beauty." Shade smiled and said, "I've always liked that name." And so it was settled. The triplets were to be called Madden, Naomi, and Liam Jr.

*waves hand back and forth* Im Madden!

Surge looked in again and saw the connection between the his son and his mate. He looked at the pups. "May I?" He asked as he stood at the entrence of the cave.

Shade chuckled and said, "Of course, Surge."

Surge walked in and looked down at the pups, he layed down and rested his head on his paws to be at eye level with the pups although they couldn't even see yet. A small orange pup cam up and bumped into his nose, he chuckled and nudged the pup back over to his mother. "What's his name? And the others?"
