Jack looked at Noah. "Thanks. " he said with no emotion on his face. "Although I don't really want to sleep." he smiled and put his head on the ground.

Andrea looked at Jack. "Hope you'll be okay..." she said and then walked upstairs. But somehow she didn't want to sleep upstairs. She didn't want to leave Jack, and she didn't know why. But, she still kept on walking till she opened one of the doors. She saw Opal there, stroking her cat. "Uhh, hi. " she said, giving a quick smile to Opal. " Can I sleep here too?" she asked kindly, smiling at Opal and Bramble.

Rosey gets up, Running her fingers through her hair. She sighed, Walking out of the room. She made her way down the stairs, Not feeling to well, But she thought it was just her normall illness.. And it was. She sighed and walked over to the table, Sitting down and looking down at the table, Taking her hair out so it falls onto the table's surface.

Connie sighed. "i wish there was something we could do...."

Angelica woke up. "ok, weird dream. and i really don't want to go back to sleep...." she said to herself. "it was nice of Noah to let us take the up stairs, but i bet it was his way of saying, 'girls are weaker, they get the up stairs so us strong boys can protect them.'. and i'm ANYTHING but weak!" she looked around.

Skye nodded. "Yeah, I know. I wonder if there is anything that will cure it?" she asked, Tilting her head slightly. "Oh come on. We are German Shepherds... We need to be smart" she smirked.

Opal nodded to Andrea, and ignored the other girls talking about Noah calling them weak by telling them they could stay upstairs. She smiled at Andrea, and said "Sure. There's a spare mattress under this bed," She paused and frowned suddenly "Not enough for everyone though..."

She stretched and got up, looking out the window. The street was so peaceful... So quiet.. almost like before.. except for the street lights mostly being dead. She went and sat back down on the bed again, this time making room for Andrea to sit down.

"Uhh, thanks. " Andrea said and sat on the bed. She looked at the ground, and she remembered how Jack saved her from dinosaurs, and smile appeared on her face. " You know, Opal...At first I thought that Jack is kinda crazed because of how he was acting, but when I saw how he was fighting with dinosaurs...Then I saw on how brave he was.God, I couldn't even think to do something like that...And I gotta admit, he's pretty hot, at least for me." she said and chuckled. " I think I...I think I love him." she said, and then stood up. She walked up to the window and looked out of it. Streets were dark, and she noticed some little dinosaurs walking through them. She walked back and sat on the bed, smiling. "Sorry for what I just said about Jack. I just had to share my feelings with someone..." she said and smiled shyly.

Skye yawned and shook her fur. "Im going to check up on everyone" she said to Connie before smiling and trotting down the stairs. She looked around at everyone and barked once. She trotted over to Rosey and nuzzeled her hand before looking over at Noah and Jack. She then made her way to the two as she wagged her tail and barked again.

Noah nodded and picked up one of the spears, holding it over his shoulder like a soldier bearing his rifle on the march. He was used to hard times, as he ad been ever since his father left, but this was totally new. This small group could be all that remained of the human race, and it felt like out of the bunch only he knew anything about survival. It only made sense for him to take charge, but while some of them seemed to appreciate or at least accept that, others seemed indifferent or even averse to him telling them what they should do. Was he too pushy? Was that why Jack had run off like a lunatic and gotten himself injured, maybe worse? Maybe he was putting too much pressure on himself or on them or both, but whenever something went wrong he always felt obligated to do whatever it took to solve it. Is it my fault? he wondered.

He went into the kitchen to be alone. God, I need you, he thought. I feel responsible for them, but I know I'm not up to it. Please, help me.

He heard a scratching at the window again, and wondered how to get rid of the snoop. He spied an extra bottle of ammonia he'd left on the counter and smiled just a little. Taking it to the window, he loosened the cap and stood poised to see how the beast would react. His tension turned to satisfaction as it sniffed and then backed away slightly, growling and shaking its head.

Angelica felt something she was used to come over her body, hate. she got angry or hating something when she was unsure of something. was this why? was she scared? were there more people out there? she made a growly noise. "i won't be bossed," she whispered to herself. "i will not be bossed by anyone!" she looked around the room.

Connie followed Skye down the stairs.

Hearing a sound, Noah shut the window and locked it. One of the girls was coming downstairs. "Is everything alright?" he asked, heading over to the stairwell.

Rosey looked up as Noah headed to the stairs. Her hair drooped over her face before she tucked it behind her ear and stood up. She then made her way over to the stairs. "I will have a look" she said smiling slightly at Noah and then heading up the stairs. "Its probaly a girl thing" she called down.

Lia was wondering. Wondering about some things... Like... How did the things killed out the human race so quickly? Or why did they do it? They could use us as servants.... Lia shook her head away from her thoughts. She could clearly imagine all humanity under command of merciless monsters. But she didn't really wanted to imagine that.

So, Lia decided she could do something else besides thinking. Thought she had no idea what. She was kinda like locked here. and she really didn't wanted to sleep. She couldn't calm down and sleep. Sadly. But she was used to not sleeping whole night. She had done it once and she didn't felt bad at all. She didn't even needed to eat. Actually, not eating around 7 hours felt like not eating around 3 hours only.

Noah nodded to Rosey. "Thanks," he replied. Then he notied Skye for the first time and pated her head, then scratched her ears. "Hey, girl," he whispered. "You gonna help me keep watch?"
He looked up as Connie came into the room. "Is everything OK upstairs?" he asked.

Once Rosey was upstairs she walked along the hallway and opened a door to the source of the noise. She saw Angelica in there. "Are you okay?" she asked, Closing the door behind her.

She nodded and barked as she nuzzled Noah's hand.
