"I'm fine!" Dev protested, hating the feeling of being weak, escpecially in front of others. "Shay...its okay..." Dev said, turing around to look at her, then flashed a 'don't you even think about it' look at James. "We're here so I can...i don't know..." he said, looking at Alaska and James for answers, he didn't exactly know why they were here.

Alaska smiled and leaned against James, her eyes sparkling even more."Don't worry about him Shay!Hes a vamp-...." SHe paused and looked at Dev, wondering if she should tell her."Should I Dev?" She asked.

Dev's eyes widened at what Alaska said but didn't stop her, it would be better coming from her than him. "Go ahead..." Dev muttered, knowing that his might be the last time that he could ever see Shay. What if she was scared and ran away? and never talked to him again? 'Just don't tell her that I can read minds..." Dev sent to Alaska through his mind, he didn't want to scare Shay that much.

Alaska giggled 'I won't!Don't you know me?I'm smart!' she told him in her mind, smiling.SHe then looked at Shay."Okay, we are all Vampires, but the good kind okay." She explained "We are like super heros than anything else!" She smiled at the word."SO we won't hurt you!" She glanced at James very quikley then back to Shay "So no need to be scared sweetie!" She smiled, her face glowing.

Dev groaned and put his head in his hands "no you're not dreaming...this is all real life and sitting before you is a monster.." he mumbled, unable to look up at her. He glanced at Alasak over his shoulder and gave her a weak 'thank you' smile, he knew that she would understand what it meant. "Of course they're no need to be scared...but are you?" Dev asked, still looking at Alasak but talking to Shay.

Dev glanced at Alaksa, not trusting his voice to speak, the room was still spinning slightly and he barley even registered that Shay was now holding his hand, totally unafraid. Dev frowned, his head still facing the floor, it was now propped on his knees. As he scanned Shay's thoughts he couldn't find fear, just wonder and curiousity.

Alaska sighed, looked up at Shay "We aren't like that, we can go into the sunlight." She explained with caution.She looked at Dev and winced, he looked sick.'I'm the monster here, these two wouldn't hurt a fly..' She thought, remembering her old life before bieng good.She took her hoodie off and wrapped up. "Here, lay down Dev..before you puke up the pop corn and Pepsi you had at the movies.She pushed him down carfully to where his head was on the 'Pillow'.

Dev groaned but agreed stubbornly "and you're not bad Al..." Dev muttered, still clutching Shay's hand. "Who cares about the past? Live for now...look at me! all the things that I did...all the poeple I hurt.." Dev mumbled, forgetting that he had read Alaska's mind, she didn't say that out loud.

Alaska smiled "Proof..Your crazy." She smiled 'But you were never in the 'war'.I was...I killed and changed half of the people in Mexico!' She thought to him, sighing in her mind.

'James calm down...' Dev sent the James as his eyes fluttered open and closed, he was barley aware of everything around him, but noticied that Shay was next to him.
