Tiga wagged her wolfy tail. "We're so adorable!" she said. She then noticed something and pinned her ears. "Why is papa's shoulder bandaged up like that?" she asked, noticing the bandages from where Mako had shot Balto. "No lieing."
"We will." said Balto. "At least this time we don't have to deal with a sadist...I hope." he said, joking.

Tiga nodded. She nosed her way through some more pictures and found one of Aleu, playing with Balto. "Whose this momma?" she asked, never having seen her sister Aleu.
Balto got there first. "You need to pace yourself."

Tiga looked over her big sister. "She's so pretty." she said. "She's got lighter fur than papa...why is it like that?" she asked, Aleu's fur probably came from Aniu, who Tiga didn't know much about.
"Wow, no offense." said Balto. "Just saying, it would help."
