"Guys, I am seeing something that may be of help." said Kira, directing them to a canyon nearby. "Aquanight is persuing us, following directly on our path." she said. "If we plan wisesly, we can lure his pack into a trap that could hold them back for awhile." she said, all the time with a Russian accent. "That canyon is being a perfect place, it would not require large change in our path but a small rock slide to block it behind us would force them to go around and lose our trail."
"That's a good idea." said Jade.

Winterfall's eyebrows rose with humor as he glanced at Wanderer. "That was great idea. Where was Wanderer?" he teased.
Wanderer nodded his head thoughtfully, after giving Winter a teasing grin in reply. "That's a brilliant plan. I'm all for it."

Jasango flicked his ears back at wanderer, then he turned to follow him, "Nova Totuis Terrium." He chanted, returning back to his normal form. Coming up to Wanderer he said "Ok lead the way, my friend." 'The secret of my past shall remain so untill I decide otherwise." He thought to himself, then he took his place on mara's left, ready to take a hit to protect the young wolf.

Flower lifted her nose to the scent of the female wolf, but said nothing as she walked beside Winter as they made their way through the forest.
Mara looked up at Jasango as he fell in step beside her. There was something odd about him. She was sure of that. Maybe it was just because he was a dire wolf. Whatever that was.

Redmoon padded beside Mara, her head bent as she gazed at Jasango curiously. She was as curious as the next wolf and she was not so eager to trust after her adventures with her brother. However, everyone else seemed to trust him and he'd helped tehm already so...

Jasango chuckled at Luke's informal approach "Please, just call me Jasango. No not all Dire-wloves were kind, there were a few that I knew of that would kill new born wolf pups, suprisingly I was'nt the only one who thought that was enough for those few to die," he said as he lifted a fallen branch out of his way "We Dire-wolves tried to live in synch with nature," here he stopped walking "mabey thats why we almost died out." Jasango continued walking with out another word.

Luke whimpered but reached out and licked the big wolf's cheek. "I'm sorry your family died...I know how you feel a little bit...my papa...is gone." he said, a tear forming in his eye.

Flower padded quickly to catch up with Mara and pick her up in her mouth. She wasn't trusting this dire wolf yet.
Mara, now able to reach Luke, licked the tear from his cheek. "So is my father," Mara said to Jasango. "Though he's still alive."

Jasango looked at luke with suprise, his pace becoming a slow walk, then he looked at both Mara and Luke, then to Flower and Jade, but despite his emotional control he had to look away and wipe a few tears from his eyes with his paw. After he had regained his composure he turned back to them, "Does anyone know what phase of the moon is tonight?" he asked looking at the faces of the wolves agian.

Jasango glanced at mara and luke, then whispered to Zach "Spiritual reasons." Then he hung his head and started to tremble violently, holding in his sobs. 'Why did she have to die, why did she have to leave me, oh Jenna, Jenna' Jasango thought to himself as his emotional control broke and he started to cry for the loss of his mate and unborn cubs. Then looking around at the creatures around him he screamed, "Why is this world filled with those who, would kill the unborn? WHY?!!!! Why is it everywhere I go I see love? Why did I have to be away from my den the night that a group of banished wolves broke into my packs territory," here he fell to the ground covering his eyes with his paws, "I was their alpha, and I failed them, why? why? why?" he now cried unchecked. His secret was theirs now, he was a failed alpha. It haunted him everywhere he went, he couldn't run from it, it wouldn't leave him, he was a crucified creature.

Jasango's tremors lessoned but the tears continued ,'Why, why am I the only one left?' he thought. Standing he looked at Zach and said "I intend to do more than ease my pain, I intend to save my kind" then he raised his head to uncover a medallion around his neck. "This medallion has the power to bring any thought into reality, but it needs to be charged. I was enroute to the lake when we crossed paths." then he gave a very wolfish smile and said "Well, what are we waiting for? Christmas?! Let's move!"

"we are moving," Winter said. "We just haven't reached it. Jasango, I'm not udnerstanding how you can save your kind. I mean, we'll help since we aren'te ven sure if this "magic pool" can restore Wanderer's memory or not but we're helping him. However, we do have other obligations. Wanderer, my pack..." Finding Midnight. He shook hsi head. "Anyway, how can we help? If there's anyway to resotre teh dire wolves, we'll hlep you."
