Vixen halted once she got near the open fields, and carefully padded around, scenting the air to see if anyone was around. She turned to Xinal. "We're past the border, we should have ran into someone by now-Yeip!"

A small group of three wolves bowled Xinal and Vixen over, fangs bared. "What are you doing in our territory!?"

"We-" Vixen started to talk, but was cut off.

"YOU! You're alive? I'll change that..." A massive black wolf lifted a paw, claws gleaming and sharp.

Vixen curled her lip and kicked the black wolf off, a burst of fire going into the air and sending him into a tree. The wolfess jumped to her paws, hackles rising at the other two. "We're not here to fight, we bring news that will benifit you!"

The two others seemed to loosen up, but a redish brown one growled, "And what is this news?"

Xinal felt his whole small framed body get lifted of the ground and a few paces away from where he was standing. He got up and shook the dirt of his pelt as he saw one of the wolves fly into a tree. He turned to look at the other two as Vixen explained. When the redish-brown wolf inquired, Xinal stepped forward to respond.

"The ground wolves are planning to attack the Water wolves! We need your help to stop us-them," Xinal quickly corrected himself, "from wiping the Water Wolves out! We haven't much time left-"

"What was that? 'Us'?" The second wolf interrupted. "You're part of the Ground Wolves! We can see you every time you go on patrol. Why should we believe you?!" the black wolf bared his fangs at Xinal and Vixen.

"Listen, I know I am a-" Xinal started but the black wolf wasn't listening anymore.

"And you!" he barked at Vixen, "I want to rip you to pieces!" He prowled forward towards Vixen eyes gleaming menacingly. Xinal rammed into the wolf to prevent the battle.

"Please listen!" Xinal barked wth unusual anger, "Unless you want one side of a balance get wiped out we have to act now!"

The small patrol was inbound nearing the border.

Vixen let her claws flame but dug them into the earth to put them out. "Just listen to us, already, unless YOU want to be torn to pieces by Granger's attack!"

The black wolf still gave her a death glare even when he replied, "Fine, We'll have to tell our Alpha about this first. But I still believe that we have nothing more to do with this war." He padded beside Xinal while motioning for his fellow wolf to escort Vixen. "You both have to come with us."

Xinal's eyes widened, "No.. I have to get back before they suspect..."

"Silence, You're the one with the message and you came here. So you might as well speak with the alpha." The angry bark came.

Suddenly, before they can take their first steps towards the camp, silhouttes can be seen over the nearest hill where Xinal and Vixen came by. The patrol Granger sent out has arrived. Teeth bared, claws glistening in the dawn light.

"Great. Just great," Vixen snarled, and bared her fangs in frustration. She let her hackles raise and fur bristle, ready to fight if she had to.

Xinal snapped around, "Just great!" Xinal barked, "Granger's a step ahead of us."

The black wolf turned to look at Xinal and Vixen, "You brought them to us!" The accusation was hurled. "How can we trust you now, huh?" He turned to look at his fellow wind wolf, "Warn the others!"

Granger nodded as he heard the scouts report, "Xinal is still out there?" He turned to look around camp. "Vixen's missing too." He was trying to sort out what was going on. Even Daiku was gone. He shook his head, his window of oppurtunity would pass before he could take advantage over it.

"Everyone, we'll leave the moment the shadow of Time Peak," He gestured to a stone jutting out of the ground and the shadow it created, "reaches quarter mark." He created a line a quarter to a parallel stone.

The Patrol Leader observed the scene before him: A border patrol of Wind Wolves and to his surprise Vixen and Xinal beside them. "Traitors!" He spat at his 'Clan'-mate and the 'prisoner'. He also noticed the order form the black wolf to his fellow wolf.

"Oh no you're not going anywhere." He jabbed a paw in front of him into the ground with extreme force. Though not as skilled and strong as the powers of Granger, he knows the basics. A small tremor was sent towards the group of wolves, creating a small low wall behind the group to try and prevent any escapee. However it was a bit too low to call threatening.

Vixen looked up with narrowed blue eyes that began to change, slowly, into amber.

The wolfess watched the patrol of Ground Wolves, planning out her next move. Her eyes darted to the low wall, and she smirked. Ooh, how threatening.

The white and golden wolf whipped around, ramming right into the wall behind them with flaming paws and claws. The ground gave way to a whole big enough for a windwolf to pass through, and she turned to look at the patrol of wind wolves. "If you want to get out of here and warn your pack, take this escape and quickly." It was still flaming slightly, but the dirt was putting it out quickly.

The reddish brown wolf nodded and turned to his patrol mates, "Everyone! Go! Warn the others." He barked before turning back to Vixen and Xinal, "I'll fight with you." Staring at them with either genuine confidence or doubt before rushing at the Gound Wolf Patrol of five.

Xinal nodded to Vixen before running off to rush at the patrol, eyes sparkling. The contact between paws and ground creating static as they come in contact with each other. Tiny cracks emtting from the light, with lightning reacting overhead.

The Patrol Leader nodded and howled, "Three of you leave for their camp." He pointed his nose to the wolf on his right, "You, stay with me. We can take these guys."

The other wolves nodded with consent. All four wolves jumped with the ground beneath them launching them even higher with the power from all wolves. The three wolves at the back are launched over the law ground wall marker and ran for the camp. While the two wolves landed in front of the Windwolves and traitors crouched down, sending two pairs of glaives and spikes towards the group sending dust and rock into the air.

Vixen raced after Xinal and lunged, twisting in the air as flames errupted towards the Ground Wolves in a sort of fire twister. The wolfess landing harshly on the ground, fur bristling and lip curled at the wolves when the smoke cleared.

The spikes that were thrown at the wolves had vanished, only dirt and dust hit the ground. Lucky for Vixen, she spotted a small tunnel in the ground not far away, smalle enough for a rodent. That meant there was more holes around here...maybe...

She dug her claws into the ground, letting them flame to test something. Smoke started coming up infront of the Ground Wolves. Yes! That means that if I lunge and blow fire down that tunnel, it will come up and shoot in their faces! Vixen growled and waited for their next move, then she'd make her own.

Nyx soon awoke from her deep, dark sleep. The medicines and herbs Granger gave her helped and she was soon ready to fight as a thanks to Granger. Nyx had the stench of her pack mates stuck in her nose and she followed them. Her heart beating in her chest, her claws kicking up dirt as she ran. She was a night wolf, and the sun was slowly setting. Darkness was her ally and it was soon going to be by her side. A dark grin appeared on her maw as she skidded to a halt beside Xinal and Granger. Nyx Never looked better the rest and the medicine she got helped her greatly. In more then one way to. She nodded a thanks to Granger, and smiled at Xinal. Then she looked among those who needed to be taught a lesson.

wait...Granger is in the same place with Xinal? I'm confused.

Xinal watched Vixen as she did her attack, he himself never stopping his pace. He has three shots but he can't use them yet. He lunged for the patrol leader ready for a claw strike.

The Patrol leader anticipated Xinal's lunge and avoid neatly however he still leapt back in surprise as he thought he felt something course through him. He shrugged it off and turned to face Xinal fangs bared.

Xinal landed on the ground light flashed were his paws came into contact with the ground. The static energy was already building up. He made another lunge but it seemed like he missed as he flew overhead. However he landded squarely on the back of the second ground wolf sending the built up static electricity from his body into he wolf stunning him a bit. Xinal leaped off and turned around to see the patrol leader pin him to the ground. Xinal tried to struggle free but to no avail. Static was arching up over the ground, and to a hole aimed at the Patrol leaders head. The static arched all the way to the left of Vixen where it leapt out of another hole near the one Vixen tested.

"Take this traitor!" The patrol leader barked as he lunged for a killing bite.

Vixen quickly threw her paw to the ground as fire exploded from it, into the tunnels, and came up blowing in the patrol leader's face, forcing him away from Xinal.

Curling her lip, the wolfess lunged over to Xinal, while the wolves were still cut off by a wall of fire that separated them. "You ok?"
