"All right," Flower called back. "Just don't stay out too late." She whispered to herself, "Maybe he's fianlly working things out with Kira." She walked back into the cave. Immediatly being attacked by her daughte.
"Guess what, Mama!? We'er going to the top of a mountain to watch the sunset."
"The top of a mountain?" Flower looked at Yunfly and Winterfall for an explination.

"You might be too late, Winter," Flower said. "They're out there, alone, and won't come inside. The cat may be out of the bag."
"What is Winter too late for?" Mara asked. "What cat? Mama, what are you talking about? Why won't Kira and Wanderer come inside?"
"You'll understand when you're older," Flower said, smileing down at her daughter.
Mara stormed off to lay by Luke. She hated being told that. She was older, and still she knew nothing.

"I envy them," Sunflower said with a laugh. "Time for bed, guys," she said to Mara and surf. Luke was already asleep.
Mara tried to protest, but she was already nodding off. Before she knew it, she had fallen asleep inbetween Luke and Surf's warm bodies.

"We best be getting ready for bed, too," Flower suggested. "We need our rest if we're living early tomorrow morning." She curled up beside Luke, not even noticing Midnight in the corner, already fast asleep... or so she thought.

Midnight had heard the whole conversation. His mate and daughter seemed to get on fine without him. The pack didn't seem to want him any way. He quietly got up, so not to desturb anyone, and crept out of the den, into the darkness of the forest.
I think we should wait for everyone else to catch up.

Surf curled up next to Mara, her head across her back and went to sleep.
Luke woke slightly when Mara stormed over. He could tell that she was mad but decided to wait to tell her that she should really apertait her family. "Mara, the sun rises are suposed to be just as amazing." he whispered before falling back to sleep."

Mara woke in the midle of the night from a bad dream. Tears were running down her cheeks. She could barely remember any of it, except falling off the edge of the mountain during sunset and Luke missing her by inches.

Luke felt tears land on him and woke up to see his friend crying. "Mara? Why are you crying? Are you hurt?" he asked concerned.
