Your fursonas.....

My primary fursona dates way back to early 2001: Amma.

Amma
Species: Red Siberian Husky
Sex: Female
Description: The signature Triple Hash markings on her cheeks. The easily overexcited and extravagant side of me. Generally in happy moods with my primary fursona. Has habits to become defensive in situations as to not be overtaken and/or overwhelmed.

Below I have Badge #4 and Badge #6 out of 11 convention badges. You can obviously tell I was too lazy to do anything to them other than ditch them on the scanner. I only wanted to scan two, because more would be clutter and plus I almost never post my work online, just to be sold at cons or to friends (not to mention inappropriate images = bad... lol)

... although I'm still going to give kudos to TaniDaReal for making that badge look that good for attending the party that we did. Hooray for lots 'o vodka and pink lemonade... Mmm. I absolutely wuv it Tani!!!

I have a secondary fursona and a spiritual (Therianthropy) character as well, but I generally don't go into much depth there.

Here's mine, her name's Carmen and she's from Balto and Jenna's second litter (I am a big Balto + Jenna fan!). I'm going to design one of strictly me (if you know what I mean, one that represents how I look and my personality), but I love my Carmen so much too!! Here she is:

My fursona is gonna be a Thylacine (AKA Tasmanian Tiger or Tasmanian Wolf) which will be really hard to draw because the few photos that exist of them are usually in black and white.

But it is worth it because they are Australian and somewhat dog-like, and I consider myself like a canine, but dogs, wolves and the like are waaay too common, and I wanted something Australian, and dingoes aren't native. So, the Thylacine it was. I can't wait till I figure out how to draw it XD!

Uh-oh... I just saw that Sora-Kun had a Thylacine...

Okay, second person to have a Thylacine... mines gonna look way different anyways...

Also, just wondering, just how many of your fursona's are from Balto & Jenna's second litter? Like, their parents should be your parents, even if my mum's might be a bobcat and my dad's might be a bear. (my parents don't really have one, but you get the idea) But it is your choice, I don't have any say in what you want for your fursona.

PLEASE, PLEASE DON'T get fursonas confused with characters. A character is just a character you like to draw, or RP with, or have in a fanfic. A fursona is what you imagine yourself to be, as an animal. You shouldn't have to put great effort into thinking up their personality (unless you're like my friend, who is really bad at judging her personality), because it's YOURS! And you should research the animal that you pick as your fursona, because it's not necessarily your favourite animal.

That means, if your antisocial, lazy and sneaky, don't pick a wolf, or even a dog! I would go more along the lines of a cat or for something different, a wolverine. No-one remembers "that black and white wolf with the leg warmers" because IT'S. BEEN. DONE.

:/ I'm sorry, but where do you get off telling people what animal to pick as their fursona? ITS BEEN DONE isn't really a valid arguement because, hey, people like canines. Whaddya gonna do?

I said it DOESN'T fit with me because I am anti-social, lazy and sneaky while the wolf is a social pack animal, a worker, and while sneaky and elusive is also a ton of other things too. I fit in a lot of stuff in my fursona from something that goes along the lines of raccoon masks, changing eyes, a hat that has so much detail put into it that I haven't seen anything else like it, she's got the vocal cords of a lyre bird, retractable claws, and is the size of a lynx.

You can be original even though you have an overused species.

That is true, too. You are right. Lolz, got a bit carried away there.

And just for the record, I wasn't referring to your post specifically. I edited my post and made it betterer.
