Rikkes dashed into an alley, jumping onto the roof of the house she was in, he crouched, breathing hard, trying to regain his strength to change again.

Racheal took a deep breath in her sleep, dreaming of the fantasy castle she had dreamt she lived in. She had Jasper as her son still and he was alive and well. Her brother's Kailen, Kaiden, Kingston and Luke lived there with her too and everyone was just happy. No worries in the world. But as Racheal dove deeper into her dream she noticed that Jasper's father ressembled someone. Someone familiar to her now. She couldn't grasp it though. Who did he look like?

Rikkes slowly calmed himself, though it wasn't easy, as the big cat's thoughts drifted in and out. Finally, he managed to shift back into a human, he lay there several minutes more and then got up shakily, sliding off the roof and brushing himself off, he walked inside, quickly acting as a concerned friend. They let him in and he sat by her.

Racheal's face began to twitch into a confused expression as she lay there on her back. She was so close to finding out who the father looked like, but everytime she came to a conclusion his looks would question and confuse her further. Slowly though she began to wake. A few minutes went by her eyes fluttered open, she glanced around the room at the medics, catching Rikke's out of the corner of her eye. She was glad he was there, since she didn't know any of the medics.

Rikkes sat quietly, he took her hand, heart still pounding, more out of fear for her than anything. He saw her eyes flutter open, a slight relief washed over him, but he knew that this wasn't the last time she'd get herself into trouble.

Racheal felt pressure on her hand and looked down her arm until her eyes met her hand. She knew where the pressure was coming from now, from Rikkes' hand. She couldn't smile. Her mouth hurt too much from where the man had kicked her. She lay very still, taking shallow breaths with a casual deep breath in between abut 5 shallow breaths. She sighed mentally, trying her best to close her hand onto his too.

Rikkes smiled as he felt her efforts to squeeze his hand back, "Everything's going to be alright." he said and gently squeezed back. He watched as the medics worked around him.

Racheal nodded, her throat hurt to much for her to speak. But it was a small nod that she had to muster up strength to do. She simply shut her eyes again and relaxed her tense muscles. She felt a medic's warm hands on her forehad, she winced and looked up at him. He was trying to help her but was doing a poor job. He must have been a rookie in training.

Rikkes looked up, glaring at the young medic. "I can do the rest." he said in a low, annoyed voice. He'd been trained in the way of healing, and he could do everything these people were doing, if not more.

The medic nodded and moved out of his way, glad to be getting out of the way. Besides, what did it matter anyway? He obviously didn't know what he was doing. The other medic prepared a needle, it was supposed to be ani-biotics.

Rikkes got supplies from one of the shelves and sat next to her, he started to continue what the other man had been doing, but doing it right. He worked quietly, concentrating on his work.

When the medic stuck the needle in Racheal's arm she winced, lifting her head and letting it fall back down. She shook her head. That hurt bad. She looked over at the medic as he grabbed a warm cloth, a bowl of hot water, and a needle and thread. She had a big cut on her forearm and it needed some attention. They prepped her arm and prepared to sew her back up. This medic was middle aged and he knew what he was doing.

Rikkes finished and sat back to watch as they finished with the last cut on her forearm. This man seemed to know what he was doing, so he didn't say anything, instead, he got up and put away what he took out.

The medic threaded the needle and the thread near the back of the cut, slowly but surely making their way forward. Racheal didn't whine nor jerk her arm away. Instead she lay back and took the pain. When they were done the put an ACE bandage and wrapped her forearm up. Racheal felt a little better now.

Rikkes waited until they were done to return to her side again. He took her hand gently and smiled, knowing that she was going to be alright, "You're going to need to learn how to stay out of trouble." he mused with a smile.
