Neol slowly crept toward the ducks, being as quiet as he could.

Randi padded silently beside him, mimicking his every move.

"Okay.." he whispered. "I'll go to one side..you go to the other...Stay close to the ground and if they try to move out of our range, bark at em, to keep them in a tight group. Kay?"

Randi nodded vigorously.
"Gotcha!" She answered excitedly, wagging her rail.

Neol nodded and slunk off to one side, waiting for Randi to go to her side.

Randi crept out to one side of the pond, and kept her head low, peering over at Neol with a smile.

Neol smiled when Randi looked over. He looked back to the ducks and barked loudly, which made them try to flock and run. Neol bark and moved back and forth, keeping the ducks from passing him.

Randi chased a few ducks back into the circle, and ran around playfully.

Neol laughed but kept the dogs right where they needed to be.

Randi opened her mouth to say something but was silenced by a loud crack of thunder and lightining flashing awfully close by. She yelped in fright and bolted into the bushes, shaking with fear.

Neol jumped, looking around. He dashed over to the brush that Randi was hiding in. "You okay?" he asked. "Wanna..go to the barn or something?"

Randi smiled weakly, and stood, walking low to the ground and close to Neol as they made there way over to the barn just as it began to rain.
"Sorry..thunder is reall scary.." She whimpered, shaking her fur out and laying down in a pile of hay.

"Don't gotta be sorry.." Neol said, shaking out his fur. "We're all scared of something." he looked over with a smile.

"Yeah I guess so.." She agreed.
