"Of course," he answered with his signature smiled.

Carlyn was smiling. She stood and moved to the back of the den and laid down.

Cress padded over to her and lay next to her, nuzzling her with a smile.

Carlyn giggled and moved closer to him, then curled into a ball with her tail over her nose.

Cress sighed contently and lay his head on the den floor, slowly drifting off into sleep.

By the time he was asleep, Carlyn was already asleep.

The sun rose bright and early the following morning. the birds chirped and sang their songs as the hunting party headed out early that morning to bring in a kill.
Cress awoke slowly and yawned.

When Cress woke up, Carlyn was still asleep. She woke up a few minutes later, stood, and stretched forward.

Cress looked over from the front of the den where he was sitting.
"Mornin beauty," he cooed with a calm smirk.

Carlyn perked and looked over at him, smiling. She blushed slightly.
"Good Morning, Cress." She padded over to him and sat beside him.

"It's a bright and shiny new day," Cress smiled, nodding to the outdoors.

Carlyn's tail thudded against the floor of the den. She leaned against Cress casually.
"So, what're we gonna do today?"

"Whatever you want to do," he smiled.

"I dunno what there is to do." She replied, yawning.

Cress chuckled.
"The hunting part should be back soon," he noted.
