"I'm okay; Molly stopped by. Go on, chomp my tail, I won't feel a thing." he chuckled.
******
Yana nodded and followed the scent, leading the way to the prey.

Aurora actually took it literally and bit his tail.
-------------------------
They soon found the prey laying nearby. "Wow, wonder what did that..."

Lilly winced, but Humphrey certainly didn't! He looked back and smiled. "See? Nothing at all!"
********
Yana nodded, inspectig the kill. "This doesn't look like any bear kill I've ever seen." she said warilly, hackles raising.

Aurora let go and wagged her tail.
"I think you two know the pups," said Kate, smiling. "They got me when Humphrey got in trouble."
------------
Blaze nodded, then gave it though. "Should we eat it?"

Humphrey nodded, rubbing Aurora's head as Tobias stood by, wathing the adults curiously. "Yea. They really saved my tail."
Lilly looked relieved and happy. "At least we know where you two went now. What good pups."
***************************
Yana rubbed her stomach as it rumbled angrily. She gave in, too. "Yea, why not?" she said with a shrug, too hungry to care.

Kate nodded. "Now what's this you have to tell me?" she asked. "What happened?"
-------------------
Blaze nodded, digging into it. "Well whatever killed it left it here after all."

"Well..." Lilly looked at Garth. But this was her sister. Kate would maybe take it easier from blood. "We were in the woods, and Garth could feel something watch us. I saw an eye- we think it may be a bear."
******************
Yana nodded, digging in as well. "I hope so... but, right now, I'm somewhat beyond caring. I'm so hungry!"

Kate was suprised. "Really?" she asked. "That's not good. It might explain the food shortage..."

Lilly nodded. "We don't know what you two should do. I mean, now that it knows we know it's here, maybe itll leave, because our pack is so much bigger?" she asked, ears lowering.

"What's a beaR?" asked Aurora, naive and unsure of what a bear was and confused.

Humphrey blinked. "Uh... Anyone else wanna feel this?" he asked, not sure how to explain.

"Uh..." said Kate, scratching her head. "...They're kind of big...furry...animals...they eat a lot, and are kind of dangerious..."

"That... Pretty much sums it up." Humphrey said, shrugging.
Tobias cocked an eyebrow, looking confused.

Aurora blinked. "...Ok..."
"Anyway, I wonder what we should do...let's go ask mom and dad, they might know," said Kate, knowing when it was time to ask someone older and wiser for advice.

Humphrey nodded, smiling at Kate's good reasoning. "Thats a good idea. I think it's best you go see your parents about it."
