Kyler nervously wrung her hands behind her back and biting her lip, looking straight at Zee. "Okay," she said, breaking her hands apart and tapping Damien's shoulder. She pulled on Damien's tie to bring him closer, kissed him briefly, then looked back at Zee. "You caught me!" she said with a chuckle. She was done keeping secrets; they were about to tell her about Damien's powers anyway, so there was no point in hiding anymore.

Kyler accepted the kiss, accepting the feeling of the warm, electric shivers running down her spine, but then she stopped him and laughed. "Come on," she said, gesturing towards Zee. "Your sister's in the room. Try to be decent." She ended with a wink.

After they broke apart, Kyler took a seat at the table and rested her cheek on her fist. She looked at Zee, half-smiling half-not, and confessed, "Unfortunately, that wasn't what we were planning on telling you." she continued, "There's something else, more serious. And no, I'm not pregnant." she laughed at the final part, but then the smile faded, dreading what Zee will think of the elements.

Kyler laughed out loud at Zee's accusation, and when Damien left to go out to the yard, she whispered to her, "It's a boy." Then, Damien came back in and Kyler became serious again. She simply looked at Zee, waiting for her reaction.

Kyler was surpised at how well she was taking this. "He needs to go through training before he can do anything dangerous with his powers." Then, she shuddered, remembering how he had nearly killed Ellis with the fireball. "There had already been some consequences..."

Kyler said immediately afterwards, "He's fine, though! He was a little burnt last time we saw him, but he's okay. Fresh as a daisy!" she smiled weakly, hoping to redeem her friend.

Kyler nodded in agreement, but then tried to defend him. "He was only standing up for himself and me, besides that little b*****d had it coming."
