Jenna snuggled up to him.
Dixie sighed and fell asleep.
The vet walked in. He checked Dana's body out. Then he felt around her throat. He pushed down to listen to her yelp and her voice she opened her mouth but nothing came out. He stared puzzled. Then felt her throat again. He turned to Kaltag. "Boy...I think she lost her voice. And not in the sense that she will get it back...I mean forever..." he murmured.
Dana stared at the vet in shock.

Jenna snored.
Dixie walked up to Star, she motioned for him to lay in the bed with her.
Dana looked at Kaltag helplessly.
The vet listened to Dana's heart. He had already put a cast on her broken leg. "She can go home now boy. Just keep it easy ok?" He asked setting Dana carefully on the floor she limped into Kaltag.

Dixie fell asleep.
Dana sighed unhappily. She got off his back determined to walk. Then took shaky steps out the door.

Dixie woke feeling sore and tired, her stomach felt huge and sore.
Dana woke the next morning her whole body sore. Her legs were stiff and she felt the need to sleep for another month.
