Kali stifled a yawn, waking up to the scent of food. SHe inhaled deeply, mouth watering. Zane lie still sleeping, and Kali was glad to have the moment between just her and Emery.
"Morning," she said, stifling another yawn as she stood up. The bark was imprinted on her back where it had pressed into the tree, and she stretched, loosening her muscles.

"Thanks," Kali said, accepting the warm PadThai. She tried to eat slowly, savoring each bite instead of wolfing it down like normal. It seemed to work some, although it disappeared pretty fast anyways.

Kali gave a sheepish grin. "Hey, Sleeping Beauty! Get up!" she called over to ZAne.
Zane stirred and sat up, opening his gold eyes blearily.
