Setsuko was silent a moment, but then spoke. "I could fix them if you want."

"How?" Rue asked, tilting her head to one side. SHe wasn't exactly surprised by this, not after all that had happened, but how could she heal it?

Setsuko stared into Rue's chocolate brown eyes with her own gray and blue. "Do you want me to, or not?"

"You don't have to, they should be gone by tomorrow, I heal quick," she said.

Setsuko shrugged. "You're decision. But if it bothers you, you know who to ask."

"But, how can you heal someone?" Rue asked, her head still tilted.

Setsuko smiled weakly. "Healing. One type of Bending that I can do without worrying about fainting. Flying is another."

"Okay," she said, nodding as if she was used to this. SHe hadn't been around Setsuko long enough to be used to it yet.

Setsuko thought that Rue seemed a bit unsure about this, but she decided not to mention it. "We should get some sleep," She mentioned, changing the subject. Jaci meowed in relief and curled up on the an old, dusty rug that was lying on the floor. Setsuko grabbed a b;anket in the corner. It was worn and full of holes and patches, but it would do for now.

Rue grabbed the next blanket, the surface scratchy against her hand.

Setsuko drifted off to sleep. She dreamed, as usual. Although this particular dream was far from usual. She was surrounded by colors and emotions. The encircled her, but didn't touch her. A voice was mumbling. An intimidating, low voice. "Why did you leave?" It hissed. "Why did you run?" Setsuko awoke with a start. It was still storming outside and Rue and Jaci where still snoozing comfortably. She sighed and lay back down, falling back into a now dreamless sleep.

Rue rolled over, curled up under the thin and worn blanket, the storm raging outside.

When Setsuko awoke again, she couldn't go back to sleep. Surely it was already morning? The storm had calmed, but it hadn't cleared, so it was hard to tell. She stood up and stretched her arms and legs, sore from sleeping on the raggedy ground. Jaci was awake as well, yawing. He stood and shook his pelt.

Rue opened her brown eyes hazily as Jaci yawned. She sat up, her dark hair ruffled and tangled. She pushed off the worn blanket, seeing Setsuko already awake. "Morning," she said, adding a yawn.

"Morning, I think," Setsuko replied. "Looks like you slept well."
