"I'll at least try to talk to her, I guess," BIddy said with a shrug.

"Alright, then. Follow me," Victor said, running down the side walk at a human pace, which was very slow to him.

BIddy sighed reluclantly, but took a bit, realizing just how angry she was.

Victor made sure to stay just ahead of her, which was quite easy for him, considering his species.

BIddy took her last bit just as the bell rang. She sighed. "Class really doesn't sound appealing right now."

"NOt much," Victor said, not even out of breath. He turned a corner, down an alley, and stopped when it opened up into the center of the town. Here it was more modern and there was a large white fountain in the middle of what looked like the town square. The sun's rays where seen through the clouds and made little rainbows in the falling water. There were groups of kids playing in the pool. "What do you think?" he asked,

"Where would I go?" BIddy asked. "Home? Shay probably doesn't want to speak with me right now."

Victor chuckled. "Well, you get used to seeing them here. THey love playing in the water."

"That sounds better than any class I'd have to go to," Biddy admitted.

"You know, it's not only the kids that play in the fountain," Victor said.

Biddy followed Asher quietly. She didn't used to be on to skip class.

"Oh, you know, just some of the crazy teenagers that hang out around here," Victor said with a teasing smile.

Biddy shrugged. "It's just, at my old school, I never would have done something like this."

"Just any of them that happen to be around," Victor said.
